Nature Poems, Part 1

Wind

A petal floats upon

a friend

speaking soft and long

to anyone who will listen

Winter

When icicles fall

and cold winds blow

it is a glorious season

for more than just snow

A clear new slate

for spring's fragile gifts

cannot be forgotten

among snowbanks and drifts
