Hello, I am Gracie, a lord to a once prospering village. I just wanted to tell you my story, so maybe getting the word out, people can help bring this town back together. Its all my fault really, but there is nothing I can to about it know.

I tried to open my eyes, slowly, and eventually they finally open. I gradually stand up and look down at my dress. It has white sleeves with a purple criss cross center with the rest purple. The dress is tattered, but I don't care. The landscape has changed, I am no longer in forest but in a field. Behind me and to the left of me there is a forest, but in front is a small village and an ocean. I walk towards the village, and to the guard standing close by. I was about to say something when he muttered, 'no sign of him sir!' Who was he talking to? I looked around to find a man with blond hair, with ocean blue eyes. He wore elvish armor, yellow grey and black, and his sword was one of elf's powerful weapons, the ice sword, but he also had an ice shield. Don't be fooled by the names though, they may be ice, but they don't melt.

I started walking up to him, to introduce myself when I heard him say under his breath, 'where has the lord gone this time?'

was the lord missing? I asked myself. I walked around him, and walked into the village. It was not organized, and there was buildings thrown everywhere. To my left was a guards tower, but a little further ahead there was a garden. I kept walking, and walked the streets just exploring when I came upon a blacksmith.  It was really close to the beach, but far enough that it was on grass and not on sand. It was a small building, and outside was a work space, with a fire and an anvil, with furnaces to smelt stuff as well. There was no door to go inside, so I just walked in. It was pretty empty, with just a bed, and a chest. I looked out the window to find the sun setting an orange, red color, and with nowhere to go, I decided to stay there for the night. I crawled into the hard rock bed, and tried to think of my past. I could think of nothing, other then my name being Gracie. Whoever my family was, they are forgotten know. With all these thoughts drowning my head, I fell into a light sleep.

I woke up to the sounds of the waves crashing the shore, and the footsteps of people walking on the road next to the blacksmith. I slowly sat up, and stretched my arms. Maybe I should just stay in this village. I don't have any memory of where I come from, plus it doesn't look like anyone is the blacksmith. I could just become the new one!

I got up and decide that's what I would do. I looked down at myself, and my dress was covered in dirt, along with my skin. I looked around to see if there was any river beds hidden by trees. Having no luck I ventured a little bit in the woods. The sun shown through the leaves leaving the flowers in the spotlight, and the bees flew past like they were in a rush to be somewhere. I walked for quit awhile until I came upon a small pond. I had no soap, but at least getting in the water could clean me a little. I didn't bother to take of my clothes, for they were dirty too, so  I just got in and laid on my back. I closed my eyes and could feel the warmth of the sun shinning down on my face.

After a little bit I took off my dress and hung it on a branch, and got back in the pond, this time looking around. The pond was surrounded by trees with some small red, purple, and white flowers dotting the ground. The pond was surrounded by reeds with dragonflies resting on them. Such a beautiful place.

When my dress dried, and I did too, I slipped my cloths back on and started heading back to town.

I walked by all the shops and housed until I found my blacksmith. Word had already gone around that I would work as the new blacksmith, because I could see people lining up waiting for me.
