  Tom looked at Edd w/ shock expressing his face. "I-Is that bad?" Edd said looking embarrassed. Tom stared at the ground. Did Edd just say he 'loved' him? Was this too good to be true? Tom just had to ask Edd on what's going on. "Edd, do you really mean that? Is this some kind of joke? Why do you love me? I'm just an eyeless, spiky-haired asshole who gets drunk every day and beats up a ginger for no apparent reason whatsoever." Tom said looking gloomy. Edd felt guilty. Tom rose his head up to look at Edd. "Tom, this is definately not a joke. I really do love you, and I mean it. Why would I say it if I didn't mean it? Love is something you should never joke about. It can restore, help, and also ruin your life. You're not an asshole, but only when your attitude comes in play. I love your spiky hair, because it represents you. And it doesn't matter if you have eyes or not, you still have your vision, don't you? And beating up Matt is actually a good thing. He's really annoying. If I insult him, you can beat his ass anyday at anytime as long as you want. So, what I'm basically saying is; I love you, Tom, no matter what happens, life or death. I will always love you." Edd spoke proudly. Tom felt tears coming to his coal, black eyes, but they didn't appear to fall. What Edd said, it sounded like was a speech, a whole paragraph of meaningful dialogue, and Tom listened to all of it. He wondered, if Edd had feelings for him, did he have feelings back? He had to find out. "W-well, if you really DO love me, then prove it!" Tom challenged Edd. Edd felt pretty sure that he can prove his love to Tom. "Alright." He said. Edd leaned forward and laid his lips on Tom's. Tom's eyes were wide open. This showed that Tom actually had feelings for Edd.
