The Cave

chapter 2

"Bug wake up!" "Ahhh! Josh what are you doing its seven in the morning!" " I know, I wanted to leave a little early!" "Alittle?!" " Oh come on it will be fun!" I reach over to my bag that I packed for later today. "OK come on." Wiping that stuff in my eyes away, Josh picks me up and runs down stairs. "I already left a note for your parents and the car has the heater on and ready with snacks and drinks, so you ready?" "Um ya whatever let's go." The car was nice and toasty. He knew I likes it that way. "So Josh you know where your going right?" "Yep and we are five minutes away." "Yay" I said Sarcastically. " Oh come on bugs it will be fun... I hope." We pull up to this place in the forest but it's soo dark how are we supposed to see anything?? Josh gets out and gets flashlights. He opens my door and hands me one. "Thanks" he helps me out of the car and sets me on top of the car. "Why do you keep carrying me" I said laughing. "Becsuse your light bugs" he smiled that smile I love. So I had to smile back. "So you ready to go?" "Ya... I think so" we walked to the front of the cave and looked at each other. "Well let's go" he walked ahead and then all of a sudden our flashlights go out. "Ahh!!" "Shhhh" he said. He came to find me but when he touched my arms this amazing purple light came from the end of the cave. "Wow" "come on!" He took my hand and rushed me to the end. Once we got there, it almost felt like my feet gave out?! "Ahhhhh!" I was falling! "Katherine!" I looked up and Josh fell in to! I hit the bottom and I was unable to breath. Then I opened my eyes and I was under water. Was I dead? Then somthing grabbed my hand. I was able to breath I looked up and it was Josh, he pulled me out of the water. Thank god I thought
