I entered the giant building, tired from my last mission. Me and my partner went to Mt. Ember. Geeez! The arcanines were killing us!! They kept attacking for no reason and the reward is ONE ORAN BERRY!! Yes, you heard me, JUST A SINGLE, TINY, CRAPPY ORAN BERRY!! And this mission was said to be easy to pull! I sat on a chair and lie my head on a table. My partner, Absol lied on the floor feeling the same I was. My name is Kyle Black. THIS IS WHAT I DO EVERYDAY. Rescue, get hurt, get tired, get hungry, get thirsty and get a tiny reward.Even though Rescuing is very hard my partner still inspires me to do it.
This place was our base in rescuing but we weren't the only ones here. Many many people joined this team. In fact it's the biggest one. I'm not the leader of this team, in fact I'm so far from that. I'm still in the bronze rank right now. There are six ranks, normal, bronze, silver, gold, platinum and lucario. Our leader is named Christine. She's a twenty three year old woman that uses psychic types. She trains her alakazam and espeon.She was the founder of this organization. She is now currently in the platinum rank.
I stood up and tried to walk to the dorm. It was hard walking there because of my wound on my leg. Especially because the base is sooo big. The base consists a mini Pokémon center in the middle northern part and the dormitories beside it. At the left side there is a pokemart and cafeteria and the request board at left. In the middle are tables where we plan what to do in our missions. I went to my room, room number twelve. I opened the door and crashed in my bed. I sighed..
After an hour absol tries to wake me up. He tried licking my face. Then he barked " ab!! Ab-sol! Absol!!". PIt ticked me off. "Absol! Shut up! Wake me up later, what I mean by later I mean tomorrow!!" I leaned to the other side of the bed. Then he jumped up and pushed me off my bed. "What are you doing!?" I picked myself up and saw our nurse, Cathy . I see, absol was trying to say that she's gonna cure my injury, but I think he made another one. "Hey Kyle! You okay?" "I'm fine, it doesn't hurt that much." I replied.
She picked up a first aid kit and put it on the bed. She took out some dressing, cottton, bandages and a band aid. "So how did the mission go?" She asked while putting dressing on a cotton ball. "Well it's hard! That's all I gotta say." I grinned. Then she put some on my wound. "Ouch!! Arceus! That hurts!!" "Calm down! It'll hurt more if you move a lot." When she was done, she bandaged my leg. And for the finishing touch she puts the band aid on the cut in my face. I blushed. " thanks.." Then I looked down, still blushing.
After a while I looked at her up and down. "New dress?" "Yeah! I bought some at the store at Celadon." Well it matches her brown leggings and hair. Also her hat. 'Cathy! Cathy!!" She was being called outside. "I gotta go!!" Then she rushed for the door and went out. I can still hear her voice outside. "What the heck's going on here?" Then it started to get lowered until I can't hear her. I lied down and closed my eyes until I fall asleep.

The next day....
The alarm clock was ringing. "Shut up! Stop ringing!" I hit it with my pillow. It still won't stop. "Arceus!! Stop ringing!" The sound is killing me!!" Absol seems to feel the same he doesn't like to wake early in the morning. After a while he got angry. He stood up and used razor wind on it. The sound of that really woke me up. I sat up and saw the alarm clock cut in half. I looked at my partner and he pretends to act innocent. I sighed "How am I going to pay for this?" I just hid it under the drawer. Problem solved!
I went to the bathroom and it looked plain. There's a sink with a mirror, one shower, no bathtub. I closed the door and locked it. I look in the mirror and saw myself. "I'm such a mess.." I said to myself. I took off my clothes and started washing myself. After that I just put on a towel and looked at my wardrobe. I put on a simple white shirt so I won't feel very hot also a pair of black shorts reaching to my knees. I combed my black hair and put on my socks and black shoes.
I stood up and opened the door. I went out with my partner following. I closed the door and locked it with my key. It has a tag with the number 12. I walked to the pokemart and gave my key to the receptionist and went outside. It's ocean everywhere since we're in an island. You know Cinnabar? In Kanto, the mansion had a secret entrance to this island here. But still, this island wasn't alone. There are more islands to explore like Valentines island, onix cave, Iceberg forest and the titan caves. I'd like to go there but, today I'm getting some rest. I went up to the tower to the left of our base which is a stairway up to the balcony in the second floor. I sat on the bench with my partner by my side.
I was lost in thought looking at the sea. After a while I fell asleep. I was woken up by a ring. I looked around and saw And realized it was my poképhone. There was a text message, it was from Cathy. Hey!! Meet me at the battlefield, 9:00!!" I looked at my watch and saw that it was 8:50 and it was the third time she sent it and there were even missed calls. I woke up my partner and went down the steps. The right side of our base was the battlefield.
When I arrived she was already there. Then she spoke " Well! I was waiting here for you!!" "Sorry!! I fell asleep. Anyway, why did you call me?" "I was bored so, how about a battle?" "Yeah sure!!" I said enthusiastically. "You ready Audino?" She said tossing out a luxury ball. And there we go! A battle!
