First Sight

Let me tell you how this mess started.

You know my name is Clara . I'm 18.

Every story has another story connected to it .

Or the heroine is some geeky little nerd who is transformed for ugly duckling to a stunning beauty.

Yeah , well I was born in North Wales . My parents are not the happiest couple . I have one sister and a deceased brother.

My whole story started when my 21 year old brother , Jaymie died.

Dad , fell apart when Jaymie died.

Jaymie was his whole world , other parents would say they never had favourites.

My father made it utterly clear.

"Girls must stay in the kitchen . No fun for you!only the men!" He would say..

Yeah, fuck that...

*Re-wind 2 years earlier*

"Clars and Livvy can come !" Jaymie said to my mom .

"I don't know . Barbecues?" She uttered back.

"Its at my school mates house!" Jaymie reassured her. "David said it was fine !"

"Can we go , Mum?" Livvy pleaded .

"Fine ! Take care of Clara for me ! And strictly NO alcohol !" Mum said .

We rushed through the door and down the street .

"Are you sure I can go?" I asked .

"Yeah! David likes you and the boys won't kill you , Clars!" Jaymie laughed.

"Those skinny jeans are not the perfect colour !" Livvy moaned at me .

"Ignore her! We are nearly there !" He said as we turned into a quiet suburb and street.

We opened David's rusty front gate and suddenly dogs barked crazly .

"Their here!" David's mother shouted to David as she opened the milk bottle white front door.

Two little manic cocker spaniels greeted us with a friendly lick .

"Jammy !" Livvy cooed at one of the nutty dogs .

"Dodger!" I scratched behind the other beautifully gorgeous dog.

"You guys made it !" David said entering the wide retro hallway.

"Wouldn't miss this for the world!" Jaymie gave him a man hug.

Laughter was heard from the other room .

As we entered the kitchen David's 9 year old sister was dancing to some ancient Hannah Montana track .

A funny converstation sparked and soon everyone was laughing.

After 10 minutes David's parents left the house so we could be alone.

"So how's life , Clara?" David asked me .

"Fine thanks .."I said awkwardly to him.

My brother was too busy chatting to David's older brother and Livvy was beating David's sister at Just Dance to even notice what I was doing .

David grabbed my hand and led me out the room.

"What are you doing?!?" I asked frustratedly .

OH GOD ! I thought . He is going to kill me !

"Clara... I need your help !" He looked deep into my eyes.

"I think .." He said quietly." I'm in love -"

"David SORRY WE ARE LATE!" The front door swung open.

A young man about 23 looked bewildered as he saw the sight in front of him .

"Phil !"David turned a maroon colour" this is Clara!"

I pushed David off of me and pushed past this tall dark cute stranger and left through the front door.

As I stormed out of the house I ran unnoticeably into the road.

"HEYY CLARA WAIT!" David screamed and ran after me .

My blood boiled inside of me .

I could feel some weird feeling inside my head as I ran .

"WAIT!" I turned to look at him.

"LEAVE ME ALONE!" I said extremely loudly.

Suddenly , someone screamed and the sound of breaks filled my pixie like ears.

I was pushed by a unnatural force onto the sidewalk.

I blacked out .

I could hear the screaming and then above me a face.

A tanned godlike face was hung before me .

"Are you okay?" David said above me.

It felt like I was underwater.

"Thank you..." Was all I could say.

The boy touched my cheek.

"Don't fall asleep..you need to stay conscious!"

I felt weightless and extremely exhausted.

The boy was the last thing I could of remembered.
