JESSLYN'S POV
We arrived in the door at 11pm. I wandered into my bedroom, half asleep. I noticed a little more black gunge had been dripping. I quickly cleaned it up and got into my pajamas. I snuggled up in bed and closed my eyes. I was thinking about Niall's guitar pick. I could also hear Mum banging the TV trying to get it to work. I shut my eyes once more and tried to get to sleep. More black gunge was dripping already. I started to worry. Was the hole getting bigger? I decided to investigate. I jumped out of bed and wandered into the kitchen to get a chair. I trailed the chair back to my bedroom and placed it under the hole in my ceiling. I climbed up on it and it creaked. Mum shouted " What are you doing in there Jess!?" "Oh, eh, nothing mum, I'm just checking the hole!" I replied anxiously. "Right OK then!" she shouted from the living room, still banging the TV.
I peered up into the hole and a big splat of black gunge dripped onto my face. "EWWWWW!!!" I screamed. Mum ran in and laughed. She lifted me down from the creaking chair, because I had gunge all over my eyes. I swiped some of it off and ran and got a tea towel to wipe the rest of it off. I climbed back up on the chair and peered in once more. I saw a massive hole, seeing the sky too. The black gunge was partly mould. I felt disgusted. I crawled back into bed and turned off the bedside lamp. I drifted off to sleep within seconds. I woke up in a terrible state. I found there was not small hole in the roof any more..... there was a...............
