chapter 2 - pinky promise

**** 8 years later****
Clair was on her way over to her aunt Amy's for her brother Joe's party.
"Clair are you okay dear " asks her mom from the front seat. Clair wasn't in a very good mood. She was excited to go so she could see Andy. But her brother said Andy might not be there and that made her very upset.
"Will Andy be there mommy? " asks Clair looking at her mom.
"I'm pretty sure he will be sweety" her mom said giving her a reassuring smile.
" doubt it" said her older brother Joe " he probably left knowing you were gonna show"
"JOESPH BIERSACK!!" Her mom all but screams at him.
"What I'm just telling the truth" he says grumpily crossing his arms.
"You leave your sister alone and keep your mouth shut until we get to amys" Says her dad from the drivers side
Joe didn't say a word until they pulled into the drive way.
" finally were here!" He says triumphantly.
He quickly got out and ran up the drive way.
Clair slowly undid her car seat buckle and got out of the car. She was almost at the door when somebody grabbed her from behind and picked her up while spinning. The only person that does that to her was Andy. She started to giggle when he slowed down.
"Hey munchkin! How have you been?" Ask Andy putting her down and laughing a little himself.
"Better know that I know that what Joe said wasn't true"
"What did you're ignorant brother say now"?.
"He said you wouldn't come to the party because I was here"
"That is a lie. I came because you where here"
That sentence put a big smile on her face.
"Come on munch. Lets get inside its cold" he says doing a fake shiver.
They walked up to the front porch and went inside.
They joined the party. Clair had fun now that she knew Andy was there.

It was time for everybody to go home. Andy picked up Clair and carried her out to her family's black Kia.
"Andy. If I come over again. Will you be here?"
"I will always be here" he said with a reassuring smile
"Pinky promise?"said Clair holding up her pinky.
"Pinky promise" Says Andy putting his pinky around Clair's.
If only she knew what her cousin had planned.
