Chapter 5: jealous?

Alex took notes during math to understand the decimal division better.
Then noticed Ellen talking with the new guy.
She giggled and fluttered her eyelashes. He grinned at her and put his arm and her waist.
He noticed Luna glance at them then turn away quickly and scribble in her notebook.

Lunch was the same Ellen kept flirting with Deric but finally Ellen went over to talk to her girlfriends they giggled.
Deric walked over to Luna and started talking with her and Alex secretly listened.
"Hello" Deric said sitting right next to her.
"Oh hey" Luna smiled
Deric flashed a grin and wrapped his arm around Luna's waist.
They way he outside to the field together since Luna eats fast.
Alex followed curious.
Deric still had his arm around her waist as they talked together.
"So you play football?" Asked Luna
"Yup! The Snakes are the best team and that is!" Deric boasted.
Luna smiled.
Deric looked at Luna's eyes face and hair, "your pretty" he said.
Luna blushed, "thanks"
Luna noticed Alex then frowned a little.
"Well I better run the bell will ring soon nice talking to you! Bye!"
"Bye talk later" Deric said.
Luna walked past Alex and inside.
"Luna wait!" Alex ran after her "Luna wait!"
Luna ignored him and hurried off the bell rang and she ran to her locker grabbed her binder and walked to her next class.
"Luna!" Alex grabbed her shoulder.
She pulled away and walked away.
Alex had to go to Language arts.
