James P.O.V
I left Daniel’s house knowing he was going to cry even more than he was, and that’s the last thing I want to see right now. Too many people have cried today and I don’t want to be the next. Right now I am lying in bed just thinking about her, Bella. Skip is really an idiot. Daniel was non-stop talking about Bella saying how they were going to video chat; I got a tad jealous because I’ve started developing feelings for Bella. We talk whenever we’re upset or just for the hell of it. Daniel doesn’t know how lucky he is to have her. I know, I have Veronica, but something about Bella is different. She would never change to make someone like her and doesn’t really care what she looks like. She also is more natural than other girls and she’s smart and has an awesome child like side. In my words……she’s perfect.
Bella’s P.O.V.
I awoke from my slumber in a panic. I tucked my knees into my chest and whispered to myself, “It’s only a dream Bella, calm down.”
The time is currently 1 a.m. I have been asleep for almost five hours. My memories from hours before flood through my mind. I check my phone, no messages. I place my phone down and scurried across the cold wooden floors, through the kitchen/ living room and into Jake’s room.
Jake’s asleep and I don’t want to wake him but I don’t want to be alone. I nudged him lightly. He just pulled him covers up more. This time I poked his nose, “Jake?” I whispered.
His eye opened slightly. He rubbed his eyes and then sat up.
“What’s wrong Bells?” he wondered.
“Can….can I sleep here….with you? I had a bad dream and don’t want to be alone.” I explained
“Of course!” he smiled.
With that he scooted over and I hopped in. He wrapped his arms around me, hugging me tightly.
“Everything will be alright Bells” he whispered.
He fell asleep quickly but I stay asleep, examining his face. Jake looked so peaceful, he was beautiful. I stared to slowly close my eyes after what felt like hours but was probably only minutes. I felt safe with Jake, he’s like my brother; he’d never hurt me.
I woke up from a light peaking from in-between the blinds. It took me a minute to realize I was in Jake’s room. I went to move and was suddenly unable to because of a weight holding me down. I looked down to see an asleep Jake holding onto my body.
“Jake...” I giggled.
“Shhh, I’m sleeping!” he groaned.
“I need you to move I want to eat!” I laughed.
“You’re such a pain in the butt Bella!” He yelled.
I laughed while making my way into the kitchen. I walked around the marble island and reached the pantry, I stopped in the process. I saw something shine with my peripheral vision. I turned my face to see a glass shattered on the floor, I forgot about last night. All my memories flooded into my mind, I soon found myself tearing up. I bent down and started to pick up the broken pieces
