I frowned as I watched him walk off. "Hey," I turned around and came face to face with this girl.

"Um,hi. I'm Shailee and you are?" I asked her.

"Taryn." "Nice to meet you Taryn."

"Yeah, I saw what happened between you and Fetty."

"Fetty?"

"Yeah. The guy with the one eye. He's my cousin and those guys bully him everyday. I bet he's thankful that you helped him."

"Doubt it. He just blew me off when I tried to introduce myself." I told her. Her smile faded. "Oh well, come on. I'll take you to the office so you can get your schedule." I nodded and followe her.

"We have...three classes together and you have all of your classes with Fetty." She explained while looking at my schedule.

"Great because even though he was rude I still wanna help him." I told her.

She stared at me before giving me a big hug. "Whoa, what was that for?" I asked after she pulled away.

"Thank you for trying to help my cousin. It really means a lot."

"Oh, no problem." We walked to my first class. "Well, here it is. I gotta go I'm already late." "Okay." I watched her walk down the hall before pulling the door open and walking in.

Everyone was staring at me.

I met Fetty's gaze and when we locked eyes he looked away.

"Um, hi." I said.

"Oh, hello! You must be our new student Shailee Samuels."

"Yup. That's me."

"Well, Shailee we were just talking about this group project we were going to be doing. I let everyone put their partners and the only person left is Mr.Fetty." he pointed to him.

"I'm sorry." He whispered to me. I rolled my eyes and walked over to Fetty.

I saw him roll his eye.

I took a seat beside him. "Hey," I smiled. He ignored me and continued working.

"Um," I tapped him. He froze and kept his head down. "Fetty?"

"How do you know my name?" He said lowly. "Don't worry about that." He sighed. "What do you want?" He asked.

"To be your friend." He finally looked at me. "To be my friend?"

"Yes," I nodded. "I don't fucking need you or anyone else to be my friend." He snapped. "Fetty," I placed my hand on top of his softly.

"Leave me alone damn!" He shouted making me jump and move my hand.

He started working again and kept ignoring me.

I sighed. This is gonna be hard.
