My true summer love.

All summer long

-Alice's POV -

I stepped inside my house as a breeze of air hit my hot cheeks.It can get very hot here in New England. I was greeted by my only friend "Navi" my pet cat.

"Welcome home my high school graduate!" My mom said running over to me."mom it's no big deal." I responded in as low a voice could go.

"We'll it is a big deal and why don't you go to your graduation party?" She questioned.

"Oh -I don't wanna go..."I said with my head down.

"What,why?"

"Um,I have better things to do-"

"What stay in your room all day-"

"Doing what I love."

"What ever." And she left with nothing else to say.

I know she is upset I hang in my room making music,for it is cheerleading my mom wanted me to do this year. But that is not my thing.

I dragged my self up stars and enters the darkness of my room."Alice come down here." Really just as I set down my mom calls me great.

"Yes?" I ask

"Your father and I have some news."

"Ok...is it bad?"

"No it's wonderful!"

"We are taking a trip to California."my father said straight out.

"Uh ok-"

"Alice, it's a business trip, you- you can't go." My mom said softly

"Ok!" Yes all the house to my self.

"We felt bad so we rented you a beach house."my mom said excitedly.

"W-WHAT?!!" I said a little to loud.

And at that point I died inside for my parents at that moment,at the same time said "for the entire summer"
