The promise: I will make you the happiest girl on earth.

It was a bright sunny afternoon. Hiyori looked up at the bright blue sky. Ah, another beautiful day. She smiled happily as she gazed at the sky's piercing beauty. She stretched and yawned, it was a Saturday. She gets to go hangout with Yukine and Yato all day! Hiyori always loves the company of the two, but somehow grew some feelings for the stray-god. How strange. I fell in love with an unknown god... Hiyori thought about her feelings for a while, but somehow couldn't shake them off. She shook her head and clutched her fist. "Today will be the day I confess to Yato!" Hiyori then nodded, assuring herself then began to walk along the side walk.

"Hellooo? Anybody home?" Hiyori asked, she finally arrived at Kofoku's house. The door slammed opened, for Kofoku standing in the door way. Her bright-pink eyes widen, as she began to sprint towards Hiyori. "Uwaaahhh!! You're hereeeee!!" Kofoku was embracing Hiyori tightly as usual. "Ehe.. Good to see you too..!!" Hiyori giggled. "Are the boys home today?" "Well, Yatty is here! Yukki went to go train again." Yes! Hiyori thought. This could be my time to finally confess to him.

Hiyori walked in and took a seat, looking around for Yato. Yato then came and took a seat in front of Hiyori. Hiyori's eyes widened and she smiled brightly. "Yato," she began. "I've been waiting to tell---" "Can that wait, Hiyori?", Yato cut her off, his tone was serious. "Kofoku, I have to go." "Eh!? But Hiyori just got here, Yatty!" "I have to go, I'm sorry." Yato sprinted out the door, without even taking a glance at Hiyori. What the hell was that!? He didn't even bothered to look at me!! Hiyori looked down, clutching her fists in anger. "What's so important that he had to leave so soon!?" Kofoku took a seat next to Hiyori, a concerned look on her face. "Hiyori...", she began, "Yatty has been hanging around Norra, I'm sorry..."

Hiyori's eyes widened. "But... Didn't he cut ties with her...?" Kofoku grew silent. "That... I don't know." That stupid stray-god... Why did he leave me just to be with her!? Hiyori's eyes began to water. "Hiyori... Are you oka--" Before Kofoku could even finished her question, Hiyori sprinted out the door.

Hiyori just ran and ran. She didn't even think about going home. She did grew tired, and decided to rest. Right when she closed her eyes as she lied back a nearby fence, her tail popped out. Great. She was a phantom again. Oh well, time to go wander I guess. Hiyori just jumped around on numerous rooftops. She then finally stopped and looked up at the sky. A rain drop fell upon her head. It was going to rain. What a bummer. Hiyori sighed, and rested her head on her arms. "Yato... Why...?" Hiyori asked herself, as she then closed her eyes and began to sob quietly.

"Now why are you here of all places, Hiyori?", a familiar voice asked. Hiyori's eyes widened. No, it couldn't be. She turned around and she then saw the track-suit god standing right before her. Hiyori then wiped off her tears and gave him an angered look. "What was that all about, Yato!?", Hiyori asked, furiously. Yato remained quiet. Hiyori began to shout. "Answer me!! I was so excited to see you, because I had important news to tell you, but you didn't even gave me a chance to let me tell you!!" Hiyori began to cry again. "Some god you are... Making me happy..." Yato quickly grabbed her wrist, and pulled her into a tight hug. "H-Hey!? Just what do you..!?" "I'm sorry.", Yato said calmly. Is he... Apologizing..?

"Norra had control over me, I finally got out, and quickly got to you just to apologize for my behavior back at Kofoku's. I hope you can forgive me, Hiyori." "Yato..." Hiyori slowly wrapped her arms around him, making him hug her tighter. "Hiyori, I love you." Hiyori's eyes widened. Was this... Was this a dream..!? No... It can't be... It's just too real to be a dream...!! "I... I love you too, Yato." Yato gently pulled away from the hug and gave off a warm smile. "It's a god's duty to keep his promise." Yato then gently pressed his lips against Hiyori's. His lips were so soft... His scent... It's so amazing....
Just a little longer... Please just let this last... A little longer.
