The 3rd quarter of 8th grade. By now, people had already been thinking about high school. So much talk about being a freshman. I was terrified. Anyways, I had sent her a text, it was a long apology. And she actually responded. She said she was sorry too. And, that we were cool. She said this didn't mean we were friends. But, it meant that we didn't have to hate each other or be mean to each other. A couple weeks later she asked if she could come over and hang out at my house. I asked my parents and they said yes. So when we hung out she brought her friend, Michelle. Michelle and I immediately hit it off. So her and I became best friends again. During, 3rd quarter and 4th quarter we ate lunch together and we hung out a lot. I spent the night with her, she spent the night with me. We went on walks and went to the park together. We did almost everything together again. It was like we never stopped being best friends. She told me everything. We were the best of friends again. And I was loving every bit of it. People knew not to mess with us. They knew we wouldn't take anything from anyone. I was so happy. I felt like everything was back to normal, it wasn't different like I thought it would be. I was really happy with how things were working out, but still, something was always gonna be different.
