I awoke with with a start and figured out someone was standing over me. I looked at the man and realized he was my dad. He said John time to go to the police station. Really I said. Yay. Of course I need to be at work in a hour so start getting ready. He said. Okay I said walking over to the kitchen and filling a bowl of cereal.  As I walked over to the the T.V. I heard the phone ring. I went to go answer it but my dad got to it first. This is all I heard. Hello he said. Oh alright. Rite now no. He said. Okay bye. Okay we have to be there rite now. He said. Oh alright. I said startled by the urgency in his voice.  We got in the car and were silent the whole way there. When we got there I could feel something was wrong. My dad went straight to the captains office. This red faced cop was talking to this tall bold headed cop who had a machine gun in his holster. I walked away from towards the captains office where my dad was. Then I heard a hissing sound. I looked behind me and saw a smoke bomb on the ground. I ran under a desk. All the cops with machine guns pulled them out and shoot all over the place. I hid under a desk. I heard my dad say no you can't do this. I heard a bang. I looked through a crack in the desk and saw my dad on the ground. As the assailants walked out of the station I saw a bomb had been set in the middle of the station. Then I heard one of the assailants say your dead meat John. How did the know my name and how did they know I was here? I heard the door shut and a click and the door was locked. I began to panic. The maniacs that locked me in here wanted me dead but why. I began to wonder around to see if my dad was still alive. Then I realized if he was still alive he was doomed like me. The bomb was set for 15 minutes. I started to consider my options. Maybe there was a emergency hatch like in movies. Maybe the back door was open. I went to the back door but it was locked.  Oh wait I could use the cops gun to shoot the lock. I had never used a gun before. The closest was shooting a paint ball gun. I began to panic. What if the gun exploded. I put my finger on the trigger. I aimed at the lock and shot. I was thrown back and tripped over a gun and hit my head on the wall. My ears were ringing. The back door swung open. I ran out. I was almost out of the parking lot when the bomb exploded. I was thrown on the ground and my face hit the ground. I new my nose was bleeding. I heard sirens and the next thing I new I was in the hospital. I was sure my dad was gone there was no way he had survived
