Eden was in love Mallory since the day he first layed his eyes on her in second grade, until the day she mysteriously disappeared in the woods, after he invited her there for one hell of a prom proposal. Driven by guilt, in playing a part of her disappearance, he vows to protect others, like he should of protected Mallory.
Flash forward 3 years, Eden is a cop, working on a alarming murder spree sweeping though Salem's Lot. Victims are turning up with their throats ripped out, and a look of utter terror on their faces.
Rumor's begin to be whispered around town, that this might not be the work of some serial killer. No, it might be the work of something more sinister, something that shouldn't exist, a vampire. Of coarse Eden is rational enough not to believe this, until an undead Mallory comes knocking at his door, and flashes him a pointy smile. She needs his help to stop all this sadistic killings.
