Chapter 21: I wish you remembered

~~~~Siren~~~

I stare at Jeff irritated.

I storm off to my room and slam the door. Why am I so ticked off?! I sit on my bed and think.

Why did he go through with it? I mean, just because he thought it was me, shouldn't make him put up with that...right?

Even if he did...why? Why would he be so desperate for me anyway. No ones that desperate. At least not without reason.

Then again- what's his reason?

What happened to Sarah? More relevant question is what did Sarah do to Ben?

Ugh! WHO IS SARAH!

"Ugh," I groan. Until suddenly I heard a knock on my door. I walk towards it, a little skeptical. " Siren! It's me, Ben..." I sigh and open the door.

He peers his head through and smiles. "Hi, did you miss me?" He asks. I chuckle softly, "yeah, I guess."

He comes in the room and closes the door behind him. "Here, it's a present! " I look down to see a purple flower.

"Wow...thanks! It's really pretty!" He smiles and hands it to me. I twirl it around and around in my hand, thinking of how to bring up the topic.

"So what did you do while I was gone?"  Ben asks trying to get my attention. "Nothing much, just read..."

Crap, that was a chance

"Oh..." He looked a little bored. "Well, call me if you need anything..." He heads for the door.

No, I have to mention it now!

"Who is Sarah?"

Ben stops in his tracks, not facing me. "I-I talked to Jeff about it...he told me that she told you lies..."

He didn't answer back. "Ben! Please respond!" I was starting to feel a bit irritated. "she...she was my girlfriend as a creepypasta..."

"I know...but what did she do? Jeff told me she hurt you, is it true?" He hesitated bit. "Yeah, I guess... She really loves Jeff though."

I look at him with sympathy. He looks up at me with a sad smile.

"Why did you think Sarah was me?" He chuckles a little. " I didn't... She told me she knew you- do you know Sarah?" I shake my head, " the names not familiar..."

He chuckles sadly. "I didn't think so..." He looks down a little sad. "Well? What else?" I ask curiously. He closes the door all the way, looking up at me.

"well...you were 10 at the time...I found her in the forest one day, after I was looking for you... " I look at him with my full attention.

"She was really excited to meet the other creepypastas after seeing me." Ben walks a little closer in my direction.

"I asked if she knew you, she said she did." He looks down again stuttering. " I asked if she would tell me about you...but she had a condition. y-you know? To stay in the mansion."

" the only way I could do that is pretend she was my girlfriend..." I speak up, " is that why the other Creepypastas were skeptical of me?"

Ben Looks up at me and says, " I guess...I mean, I'd understand why they'd be skeptical of you...even if it wasn't your fault."

" b-but Sarah, was she nice to you at least?!" He walks a little closer. " n-no, she was very unkind to me..."

I look in his eyes, concerned. "Why? Why wasn't she nice to you?" He shakes his head. " I don't know, but that's the reason I wonder why your so kind to me..." I smile a little.

"Because- I-I like you...a lot." I look down embarrassed.

Why the hell did I say that!?! I was probably swept up in the moment- but still! I sound desperate and cheesy!

" S-Siren? You mean that right? Y-Your not lying?" Ben asks holding my hand. I blush a little saying, "why does everyone think I'm lying to them? I'm telling the truth!"

Suddenly, I feel arms wrap around me. I blush and drop my flower. "B-Ben!" He didn't answer. "Ben- why are yo-" he interrupts me. "I wish you remembered..."

Huh?

"I really wished you remembered." Ben says squeezing tighter. "R-Remembered what?!"

He lets go and looks in my eyes very serious-like. "I wish you remembered why I chose you~" I blush and look at him intensely.

"Siren your special, and you don't even. Know why..." I look at him irritated again. "Where is all this coming from?" He smiles a little and says-

" your special because your mine..."
