I never thought I would make it to college, I worked a year, met my boyfriend, Mark, and finally made it to college.
We had a small apartment, one room, and lived there for four years. I loved it, it had a cute kitchen with all the necessities, I was in cullanary school as was Mark. It had nice looking cabinets and a light blue carpet, mint green walls and mostly light furniture.
"Babe, how was class?" He asked me with his soft voice, "Great, Professor Hover had us work on mincing, I still suck at it, haha" I yelled across the room. He smiled with his little dimples as he watched the T.V.
Later, we went on a date, we were just walking on the beach and he told me to follow him, Mark ran up a stone path that led to a glorious veiw. When I got up there, a picnic was set up, it had a red blanket with a few pillows, champagne and cheese. Just a few weeks ago I told him this was how I wanted to get proposed. We looked at the sunset.
"I made a painting for you, it's nothing special." He gently told me. He flipped the painting over and there it was, the words Will you marry me were written in a beautiful tone. I looked up and he was on his knee, holding up a beautiful diamond ring. "Yes."
