John Clarence please make time,
And read this poem for a while.
It's not as good as Dr. Seuss' works,
But let me just tell you about my perks.

I'll tell you my story
I'll show you how I feel,
From the beginning to the end
Even if for sure you'll think it's not real.

I've known you for years,
Until now.
But my mind can't stop thinking
Knowing something has to end somehow.

T'was years back then.
John Clarence we were so young,
And you were with your best friends.

Walking around the grounds,
Pavements so high.
I saw the hot wind blew your hair,
And....my oh my!
Thought t'was love at first sight.

Weeks have passed after that day
'Till I saw you again John Clarence,
Standing by the hallway.
Wondering something that I wouldn't know.

I saw you from the distance
Although I was far away,
The look in your eyes was overwhelming
That's when I realized your beautiful face.

John Clarence I wanted to know your name
But then I discovered something
I didn't know you already had someone
A lover who loves you for anything.

I said "oh well!"
Atleast I tried,
So the year passed by
And I didn't mind.
