Naomi's POV
Finally, after 12 hours being cramped in a plane (having to do a connected flight) I've finally arrived back in Japan. I can feel the warm breeze welcoming me home and a lovely sun shining down on me. It's just so great to be back home again. I lay on my bed as I remember what just happened for the past few weeks. It was great going to paris but i'm soo happy i'm back home now.
#doorbell ringing#
"I'll get that", my Auntie said.( She had also came with me to Paris and came back with me)
"someones here to see you!", my Auntie shouts from downstair
I wonder who it is?
"Naomi!", my grandmother cries as she comes rushing up the stairs.
"Ohh, Naomi welcome home my sweet darling, I've missed you soo much and ohh look how much you've grown in the past few weeks."
"Grandma! I missed you soo much as well", I said in a surprised tone because I had not expected to see her.
We hug and then we told each other about all the details since I was gone.
"where's you're Dad?" my grandmother asked.
"He's still in Paris. He said he will come back a few days later."
"ohh ok then. Tell me when he comes back."
"I will"
5 days later
I'm a bit worried because my dad still hasn't come back home. He said he would be back in 3-4 days but it's been 5 days since I arrived back. Well maybe I shouldn't think about it too much, I mean his plane might have been delayed or something. I decided to catch up with my friends and see what they've been doing since the break.
Another 2 days later
Lately for the past few days I have been worrying about my dad very often. This morning I woke up to the sound of someone knocking on my door. I got up put some warm clothes on and went downstairs. I opened the door and I saw 2 police officers(one tall and the other fat) and my auntie standing outside. I looked at them confused and a bit worried. The look on my aunties face was soo sad. It looked as if she had been crying all night and hadn't slept well at all. I stared at the police officers and they had a Solemn and pitiful look on their faces. At that point I was freaking out and had no idea what was going on. I invited them in and they my auntie sat next to me. The officer and chief introduced themselves;
Hello I am chief Kudo
"So you're probably wondering why we are here", said Chief Kudo.
"yes", I replied
"well, we are here to talk about your father." said the officer Tanaka.
"what about him?" I asked worriedly.
"Well 4 days ago your father bordered the plane A4956 from Paris to Japan on International travel. A bit over halfway through the flight the plane your father bordered had a malfunction and the plane came down at a very rapid pace. The pilot tried all he could but couldn't get the plane back up. All the passengers where required to put on the safety gear but for some reason alot of seats safety gear were broken. Your fathers seat was on of them. The plane came down and crashed onto Mount Everest (the tallest mountain in the world) before it roughly landed on the cold, snowy ground." the fat officer explained.
When the officer was halfway explaining I got all sad, frightened, confused. Questions came up in my head; what happened to my Dad? Why is the police telling me this? Did something bad happen to my dad?
