That guy just left me blind and confused.

Since he took my glasses, I'm just gonna have to buy another one.

I was glad that History was our last period.

I picked up the book, Where She Went, and kept reading.

My vision wasn't really that bad so I could still recognize people by their appearances.

But it feels like something's missing. I guess, I'm not used to walking around or reading without glasses.

I was turning to another page when,

"Oh look at what we have here!"

"The nerd's blind!"

"Is reading the only thing you know how to do?"

I ignored their comments and kept reading.

Until I was pushed harshly, ending up on the floor.

I held my tears that were gonna fall down any minute now.

"Aww! What are you gonna do? Cry for your mommy?"

"See if the books you read can help you!"

"You think you're so smart, huh?!"

I don't understand. What is with them and books!?

Is there a rule that says that people aren't allowed to read books?

Why haven't I been told about that then?
BECAUSE THERE ISNT ANY.

"Oh now, don't tell me you can't speak!"

I inhaled and exhaled, trying to calm myself from exploding.

"Books are for people who can't express themselves

I stood up, tears falling down my cheeks.

"What. The. Hell. Is. With. All. Of. You. And. Books. Is it because you're flipping jealous because you can't read or pronounce long, complicated words?! Because I don't flipping care if you can't! So what if I read a lot of books!? So what if I'm not smart?! If being smart is being mean, rude and being a big bully like you all, then I'm the stupidest idiotic dimwit in the flipping world!"

My breathing turned rough and hard, after releasing all those words.

I ran away quickly from them, with my book in my hands.

Third Person's POV

A certain figure stands behind a set of lockers, staring at all the commotion.

A few girls and boys surrounded a girl who was reading a while ago before she was pushed down.

The girl, apparently, had had enough and stood up to them, to which he internally applauded.

She finally spoke up. No more work for me.

The guy smirked silently as he walked away.
