Early morning, 6 a.m to be precise, we were on the roof, sky misty, radiant blue. Kole was setting up his camera stand and what not as I admired the view of the many buildings surrounding me. I sorted out my hair in the front camera of my phone before starring at everything around again, at the people down there, simply living, going through their daily boring routines. It felt empowering to be watching strangers, although it seemed like I was invading their privacy and crossing lines, I mean, I wouldn't want anyone watching me either, it's rather.. uncomfortable.

"And I'm done!" he says cheerfully. We were both eager to have this photoshoot specifically. Not that it's a first or anything, but it was special. It was for this company I was signing up for, I've already sent them my SV, and I'm feeling a little apprehensive, but also quite confident actually. It would be the first serious thing I've done. Like ever.

"Alright, I'm not gonna boss you around like the usual, they want it to be natural correct?" he asks, and I nod. "Okay so just do you!" he says before sending me off to pose randomly, at first I'm kind of awkward, not sure what to do in the open space of the roof. Kole notices the tension and makes a face at me which makes me laugh, he snaps it immediately.

After that many ideas pop in my mind. First I head for the railing, it's quite thick so I rest my elbow on it and look down, with the massive architectural buildings behind my silhouette.

Then I sit, once my back to the railing and another on the railing itself, looking infront of me but not directly at the camera. After that I do a couple of ones while I'm standing and some whilst looking directly at the camera for once, although I quite enjoy the ones when I'm not looking.

I can always pretend that there's no one around me and just chill. Then I do when giving him my back, I was wearing this open-back top so I just had to include it in the pictures because it was quite stunning. "Cheat a bit to the left will ya?" Kole suggests, and I do as he says.

And that's what I did with the rest. We have a few good shots so Cole calls a break in satisfaction. "You're doing great," he compliments grinning before he takes a sip of the iced latte I made for both of us. "After finishing this we're gonna do the second outfit yeah?" he asks,

"Yep." I answer, taking a sip myself. "Which one was it? Is it the one with the blue skirt?" Kole asks and I nod once again, too occupied with the drink in hand.

"You're quiet. I'm scared." He jokes. "Nervous?"

"I am yes, but it's just that I don't know anything about this it's not like I'm a pro or anything so I keep thinking like 'what the hell am I getting myself into' you know.." I admit, Kole is my bestfriend, always have been. As long as I can remember to say the least. So he understands things. Things that I think about. Things that most people consider stupid but really, the just don't get it.

"I know. But you're soo good. You have it in you trust me." He tells me which makes me feel a little better. "You're gonna survive, Rosie Blackbird!" He shouts to the endless sky making us both giggle uncontrollably.
