Miserable at best

We made our way home talking about random little things that pop in our heads. When I opened the door shigure looked ready to hug me. " oh tohru thank god your home! Yuki burned dinner and we don't have any money to order take out and we couldn't find your bag " he mumbled that last part and my eyes widened with shock. " oh I completely forgot. I had Kyo walk me to and from work tonight and forgot he was supposed to heat up dinner. I'm so sorry! " I ran to the phone and called a take out place. " okay thank you. " I set the phone down. It was late and I needed to go grocery shopping. So there was nothing to cook " where did you get that? " shigure pointed at my necklace with confusion " Kyo got it for me " I smiled and looked back to where Kyo was supposed to be standing but he had vanished probably to the roof " Kyo? " shigure said with a small smirk. I nodded " mind if I use the phone tohru? " I moved out of the way and dialed a number. " HATORI!!! " he screamed into the phone. I made my way to the roof so I don't eavesdrop and be rude. Kyo was laying on his back and was looking at the stars. " Kyo? " Kyo didn't move not did he seemed surprised I was there. " yeah? I was in the kitchen doing the dishes after making breakfast. It was a Saturday so no school today.
