Quick description: A virus has broken out and has infected a majority of America and parts of Europe. The symptoms have caused the host to act drastically with a craving for flesh and destruction.

Basically it's a zombie apocalypse and our favourite hunter and his fiancé are stuck in it, left to survive without little food and resources with some questionable allies.

"-ean? Dean! Come on you got to get up guys, it's almost 8 o'clock. Get out of bed!"

Dean felt the weight on his chest stir at the banging on the door and slowly opened his eyes. The sun was shining through the opened curtains and the lights hurt Dean's eyes once he blinked them open and looked down to the head buried into his shoulder. A soft smile made its way on to his face as he looked down at his fiancé

Dean turned his head to look at the clock on the other side of the room. 7:53. It was the first real night sleep they had both gotten in weeks without being rudely interrupted by Chuck pulling them out if bed because of another herd of walkers being to close to the camp at 4 in the morning. He looked back down at the mass of dark hair that keeps tickling his neck. Reluctantly, Dean began to shake the man in his arms. Cas groaned and tried to bury himself further into Deans arms

"Rise and shine sweetheart, breakfast will be over soon and I know how you can't function without some form of caffeine." Dean laughed out, prying his fiancés arm away from his waist. Striking blue eyes fluttered opened to glare at Dean before rolling over. "Come on sleepy head. If we're lucky there might be some food left for us"
At the mention of food, Cas slowly sat up. "Fine. But you're making me the coffee." And with that, Cas got out of bed and found some clean clothes to change into. Dean just threw on the same clothes from yesterday and grabbed a blanket before stepping into his worn out combat boots.
After Cas found his other shoe, which somehow ended up under the mattress, "Hey don't look at me,you're the one who always puts your stuff in weird places." Dean had argued, they linked their fingers together and headed into the makeshift dining room. The camp wasn't very big or spacious. It used to be an old hunting lodge kind of thing, abandoned for many years. But it had 5 rooms, a kitchen and a working toliet, which was definitely an improvement from there last camp. The dining room consisted of a half rotten dining table and some dusty garden chairs stolen from the old convenient store a few towns over. It wasn't much but it was home. For now at least.

Bobby was sitting at the table a few seats away from two of the other hunters he worked with, reading one of the four books they owned. Bobby was in his early 40s and had a thick beard and always wore a baseball cap. To hide his ever receding hairline as cas keeps saying. He was a nice enough guy though no matter how intimidating he seems. And very handy with a gun. Most of them were now a days. What with all the zombies and stuff.

Cas sat across from Bobby and Dean wrapped the frayed blanket around his shoulder before making them some coffee
"Glad to see you guys up. It's about time." Bobby grumbled out without looking up from his book. "Yeah well someone decided to act like a moody teenager being woke up on Monday morning." Dean remarked while handing Cas his coffee and a plate of leftover spaghetti and beans and sitting down. "You were the one who kept me up until at least one with your weird need to play poker every few days." Cas scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"Yeah yeah whatever. Just hurry up with your drinks. There's a small group of walkers a few miles up the road. They seem pretty harmless but we can't risk it. Not after last time." Bobby said. Dean rested his head on Castiel's shoulder before asking "How many?"
"About 7 I believe. John was a bit hazy with details. Should be easy enough. Maybe bring your sword things with you. Gotta save ammo." Bobby directed the last part to Cas. "Katanas" Cas corrected the older gentleman who just replied with "Yeah whatever" before waking away
"Why do I get the feeling he doesn't like me?" Cas asked to no one in particular
