Shadow's POV
When we got to my parents house they were sitting on the patio waiting for me and Kris and the others. When the car stopped boys turned around and looked at Kris and said in chorus ,
" Put on your greatest smile!!!!!!!!!!"
We both laughed but when she noticed that we were laughing at the same thing, she stopped. After she gathered herself she opened her door and got out of the car, closing it behind her.
We all looked at each other for a moment and then we all got out and headed towards the house.
She looked so beautiful, the sun hitting her hair making it look like a halo on her head. Damn why did she have to be so damn fine. What The Fuck!? Why am I thinking about her that way, I need to stop. As we walked up the stairs my parents came walking down to greet us, my mom with a big smile plastered on her face and my dad with a grin on his.
When we finally meet half way my father hugged Kris and said,
' Welcome to the family Kris, it's finally nice to meet you.'
She blushed and hugged my mother and said, ' It's nice to meet you Mr. and Mrs. Winters.' My mom answered, ' Please call me mom or Andrea.' Kris just smiled and nodded her head in a yes motion. After a brief moment of silence my dad cleared his throat and said, ' Call me Andreas. But you all must be starving? Why don't we all go inside and get dinner prepared?'
I put my hand on Kris's waist and lead her to the front door of the house signaling for everyone else to follow. When we made our way into the house we were immediately ambushed by more of my... I mean our family... as soon as we stepped through the door.
The first people that I had seen when we walked in were the twins Avangeline and Daniel, they were both 8 and devious just like their mom. Secondly was my little cousin Aaron, he had just turned 16 this year so he was just getting some hair on his chest.
Then we seen some more of my family(meaning my older brothers and sister) Monica, Jacob, Omar, and Rafael. Then we have Monica's husband Raquel, Jacob's girlfriend Evelyn and Rafael's Rosa. After hugging and greeting everyone I pushed Kris off with the other girls so they can show her around and help her get settled in.
But before I let them go I pulled Rosa to the side and said,
'Hey is he here?' She said ,' Oh yeah he's here he's been asking about you for weeks, he's in the backyard.'
I squeezed her arm and she gave a satisfying smile, and I was off to see my nephew, the spitting image of me, Nathaniel. When I got to the back door, I seen him standing there looking at the waves while they crashed on the shore. Seeing him doing that just reminded me of when I was younger.
Nathaniel was only 15 and he looked just like me, even thought he wasn't my son. He's my twin brother Jr. son. Man I miss Jr. so much but it's good to see Rosa finally happy and here. As I look at Nathaniel I see Jr., but instead of dwelling on the past I start to walk towards Nathaniel and I shout,
' It's Time !!!!!'
