"Ethan come on! We are going to be late to class." I hollered down the hallway.

"I'm coming Darcy." he said.

Ethan's tall figure walked out of my bathroom, his hair in a quiff. "You two have fun on your first day of eighth grade . Make lots of friends. Love you both." My mom called from the living room.

I quickly gave both my parents, Aunt Jessica, and Uncle Zayn a hug before Uncle Niall drove us to school. Ethan and I found out we weren't cousins when I first entered middle school so things between us have been better than normal. Ethan intwined his fingers with mine and I smiled. We had secretly been dating since sixth grade and the only people who know are our friends. This was going to be a great year. "You two be good and have fun at school." Uncle Niall said.

Ethan and I said goodbye and jumped out his truck. We hand separated our hands before he could see anything. He took off and Ethan once again intwined our fingers again. "Look at the two love birds!" Mason said, patting Ethan on his back.

I smiled as I saw my best friend Keyona walking towards us. We hugged each other before she greeted Ethan. "Still together I see huh?" she asked.

I nodded my head yes. I was one of those quiet people who don't really talk. Ethan was trying to change that and get me to get more friends but I thought my five friends was enough. All four of us walked into the school. The little sixth graders were trying to find their way to the gym to get their schedules for class. "Come on, lets go see how many classes we have together." I urged Ethan.

We walked hand in hand to the gym and grabbed then envelopes with our names neatly printed on the front. We pushed our way out and towards the band lockers. Eathan and I had first hour, third hour, lunch, fifth hour, and sixth hour together. The bell rang and we made our way to first hour. On the board was writing. It read 'Welcome back to school. You may sit where you want ~Miss Edith'

Of course, I sat next to my best friend who was also my boyfriend. Miss Edith taught math and we always got candy when we solved a problem right. Second hour was science with Mr.Hirsh or as Keyona and I called him, Mr.Harsh. Third hour was language arts with Mrs.Bayne. She is a nice old lady unless you piss her off, then she turns into kung fu gran-gran. I may be fourteen but I still swear, so does Ethan. Fourth hour was choir with Missy Tarek. We didn't have to call her Miss Tarek. Fifth hour was southern hemisphere with Mr.Goodman. Sixth hour was band. I play the trumpet and Ethan played the drums. And finally seventh hour was art with Mr.Mikal. Even though it was the first day of school, we still had to paint. Mr.Mikal told me my painting was extraordinary. It was a wolf standing on the edge of a cliff, howling at the moon with its pack not far below him. It still has work that need to be done like the clouds. The final bell rang and I met up with Ethan to go home. Aunt Caitlin picked us up. "What a day." Ethan said, flopping down on my bed.

"I agree." I stated, laying down next to him.

I looked over at him to see him staring at me. "What?" I asked.

"Your so beautiful and I'm lucky to have you as my other half." he whispered.

I smiled and scooched up closer to him. He kissed me gently, holding my waist with his massive hand. Man I love him, I thought. The school was stupid and decided to syart school on a friday so Ethan slept over with me. My mom thinks we are just friends having a sleepover but that's not true. Semptember second, two-thousand twenty three was the day I lost my virginity to Ethan Conner Malik. Nobody knows but us.
