Chapter 4: The Fault in All of Us
Stiles POV:
The clock's ticking seems endless and these minutes feels like hours and these hours feels like months in this caged up classroom. I just can't wait to burst through those doors the minute that bell rings and find Ariana.
Tick. Tick.
Tic- BRINGGGGGGGGG
"Finally!" I muttered under my breath. As the crowd of students try to fit pass the door as a whole, I manage to slip into the cracks in the doorway. The sudden sound in my head pounds, pounds, and pounds. Louder and louder every time. My breathing starts getting heavier and faster. My vision begins to blur as I hear someone cry out my name.
"Stiles." The voice muggly slurs.
"STILES!" The voice loudly becoming clear.
My head jerks up in a whipping motion and suddenly I am staring at Scott, heavily breathing.
"Stiles! What just happened?" Scott panicks.
"I- I don't know, I just walked out of the class and everything started to crash down and I- I- don't know what's going." I stutter.
Scott pulls me up by the arm and the corner of my eye, I see a girl standing there, panicked, scared. It was Ariana.
Ariana's POV:
I run down the halls, trying to wipe the tears from my eyes. Nothing is stopping the stream of tears, memories overflowing.
FLASHBACK
"Stiles? Stiles. STILES!"
I see Stiles, struggling as he falls to the floor, breathing heavily.
"STILES, BREATH, IN AND OUT"
"YOU ARE GONNA BE OKAY, JUST CALM DOWN"
"BREATH, C'MON STILES LOOK AT ME"
I grabbed his face towards me.
"OKAY GOOD, SLOWER, YOU'RE OKAY"
He takes his big breaths and thanks me.
I grab him by the arms and I hugged him so tight and began to cry.
FLASHBACK OVER
I was the only person who ever saw him like this, his panic attacks. After his mom died, I was the only person he came to about his mother. Not even Scott knew he had these panic attacks, of course he got medications for it. But, something like this affected him farther, no amount of medicine could fix what happened just now.
