~I Made A Deal With the Devil~

~Losing all Hope~

          After we had gotten in I saw a huge woman with a blazing look in her eyes for blood. Sebastian started to explain himself, suddenly the woman slapped him across the face with a belt so hard that she knocked Sebastian to the floor. I screamed in terror while looking up at the woman, she stared to yell and kick Sebastian. When Sebastian had enough of it he yelled to the woman  while coughing up blood, "Ms. Bloom m'am I saved this girl from the outside and thought  she could come to live with us and the other children" other children? I thought. But before I could help poor Sebastian up the ugly woman yelled into our ears "What the bloody hell is she going to eat! I barely have a enough food to satisfy all you brats like yourself" she suddenly looked at me and then slapped me "What are you look'n at blue eyes!" I could feel my face almost burning with pain.

           "Jeez your such annoying little brats, go to your rooms now!" Ms. Bloom screamed, she left in a huff. I quickly wrapped myself tight in the white sheet Sebastian had given me and crawled to his side "P-Please be alright" "heh~ I'm fine don't worry about me" He said while trying to catch his breath "C'mon lets go I want you to meet someone" Sebastian slowly got up and held my hand then walked with me to a huge oak door. When we walked in I saw at least 30 or more children curled up on metal bed frame with a thin blanket wrapped around them, some were even on the floor.  "Hey Sebby, and who is this little cutie over here?" I saw a girl with blonde messy hair tied in long braids she had blue eyes, with small brown freckles on her face. "This is Sky, Sky this is Annie she is one of the oldest here" Sebastian said while patting my head. Annie smiled and laughed a bit "I think we have some spare clothes in the closet , lets go Sky I'll show you how things work around here" I took Annie's hand and went to go change. All of the children were wearing grey for some reason. Annie explained everything to me and why she was so mean to Sebastian. She warned me that all of the children of the house has been beaten before, and that I would be in the future. She hugged me and kissed my head "But you will get through it, don't worry Sebastian and I will always be there for you" Annie said with a sigh.

          It was late and Annie showed me to a "bed" by a window. "This is the best spot in the whole house if you ask me" Annie said with a smile. She handed me all that I needed for the night. "Goodnight sleep well" She said while tucking me in. I looked up at the window and saw a hill with a huge oak tree with no leaves, and threw the tree branches was the full moon sitting on top of the hill. I remember that I just stared at that beautiful sight until I fell asleep.

        Ms. Bloom would work us till we had no energy left, she hardly gave us food each day, and beat at least one of us. But every night I would look up at that beautiful tree and feel one slice of calmness in my life.

      After a couple of years past I was 15, I had been raped, beaten and starved many times by then. And on my 16th birthday...................

That's when my life changed forever..........................

            It all started when Sebastian got in trouble for stealing Ms. Blooms food because one of the younger girls hardly ate. When we get in trouble Ms. Bloom would chain us to a metal pole inside the house and either leave us there for two days straight or beat us until we pasted out. But this was the last straw for Sebastian, he had done this many times before. Ms. Bloom had chained him and kicked his stomach, head and chest. Then she got out a whip. I was behind a wall hiding from her, I was crying. I wanted to scream in horror at what she did next. She slashed open Sebastian's arm and head, he was bleeding so much. I had enough, I started to run and try to stop her from killing him but I was stopped by Annie crying as well. She pulled me into her hugging me tight. I broke down and stared to sob. "P-Please don't look" she said in between tears. I could hear the slashes of her whip tear through Sebastian's arm.

Then............

Silence.................

           I wanted to go to him and save him but Annie wouldn't let me. I didn't care if Ms. Bloom beat me, I pulled away from Annie, Annie let go of me. I slowly walked over to his  body, his blood soaked, cut body....... His bright green eyes were clouded, the life in his skin was gone "H-He dead....."

I was losing all hope, I was losing my grip on reality....................................
