Prologue

“No! There must be another way!” Vincent exclaimed, seeing that pain in his face furiously looking to Feyth’s angelic face. He was misty-eyed as he heard about the idea of feyth leaving him.

“You know there’s no other way but except this…” Feyth said gently, caressing Vincent face lovingly. It also hurt the idea of being far away with him, seeing him look like this make her heart ache and broken like there is sharp thing stabbing her inside.

“But we can find a way… I could find a way… There’s nothing in this war I will let them get you!” Vincent working his stubbornness this time likes a frank devil hard-headed creature. Well, which part of him he was already.

“You know I have to do this, this is what I destined for… you know I have to… leave.” I feel tortured while saying that last word, like there was a snake binding my heart as its venom poisoning my system thinking I’ll be gone on his side by the man I loved.

“F-feyth…”

“I’ll still remember the time that I first meet you. You are this snobbish, arrogant and hard-headed half angel-devil creature. I was in the woods when I saw your chamber within the center of open field when I opened it and I wake you up and you yelled up on me for disturbing your sleeping.” Feyth let out a loving grinned. “Honestly, I never get over with that then and planted your face into my mind.” I smile, flashback of past memories coming into my vision. She trailed off his smooth charcoal wavy styli hair and putting away those couple strains of his hair that spotted to his forehead and then down to cares his beautiful face again much tender and lovingly, not intentionally looking up to those thin yet kissable lips of him which always look inviting. Feyth gulped.

Vince also grinned when he also remembered that part of their life. Actually, he regretted it when he yelled up on her just for a simple reason he was disturbed in his resting? That was truly shameful of him.

“And when the time that I knew you’re not that just ordinary and you’re the one of the keepers I will summon, I feel great terribly… here,” feyth utter pointing her chest as she meanly points behind it was her heart which it beats irrevocably fast. This was the first time she telling about this stuff to him. She bit shy for the truth of she fell in-loved with him on the first place she meet him.

Vincent was shocked apparently look still, she never told me about that before, I definitely didn’t expected it.

“You are unique… super extraordinary of all even you’re half blood makes you different from among beings but you stand among the entire empire and already proven yourself… you’re so good to be true, you’re the one person make me feel like this, uncontrollable, beloved, secure and calmly…”

Vincent looking at her intently like memorizing each part of her face and savoring every word she says even he already crashing inside.

“…But we have duty to follow, duty to accomplish… I have a mission and that’s to save you all and you… to protect everyone including me-”

“And that’s what I’m doing now… protecting you, ceasing you to die and sacrifice yourself, guarding you away with those nomads.” Vincent looks desperately said, bringing up his both hands to Feyth face.

‘Nomads’ referred for the fallen angels which the demons. Angels creature that are perish and fall for their worldly desire, ungodly aspects and envy perspectives which thrown into the land of Zaparire; a land for perishable mankind and creatures; the place of sufferings.

Feyth shook her head in different direction. “No… it would be selfish of you considering you’re duty is to protect me but you as well had to protect everyone in the paradise…” she faintly smiled. “…It’s not just only me you’ll one to protect there also everyone out there waiting for your help,” she said glumly, I saw one drop of tear roll down to his cheek. It stunned me seeing him crying, this was the first time I saw him cry thinking he was one of the stronger warrior or keeper among others in entire empire of guardian angels.
