Naomi Stone grew up to be an awkward child. Seven years had passed since then. Now, the twelve year old Naomi can be seen scrubbing the kitchen floors. Being too skinny and lonely nobody dares to be her friend, especially because Lady Wallis (we should call her Lady Wallis at this point, as it was made accustomed to the children under the care of the G-Orphanage) isn't very fond of her. This is due to the fact that this girl's mere existence is a mock to her efforts to finally marry her way to riches seven years ago. Her wounds prior to this incident never healed, and she grew to despise the kid the kind sir greatly carried into her care.

With this, there was never a day where Naomi didn't work extra hard.

It wasn't just that. Once, because Lady Wallis found her rich, black hair too annoying, she cut it so short the other kids started laughing at it.

But there is one incident which branded Lady Wallis' hate for her official. On her first weeks at the G-Orphanage, she had the fateful encounter of Mr. Teebone. A scrawny middle aged man who is supposed to be their teacher. In truth, this man, who was once honorable, has shrunk to live bragging about his knowledge on higher Maths. He intimidates the ignorant kids this way. As soon as Naomi stepped on his classroom, he immediately recognized the need to show his authority.

During his class, he called out Naomi to answer a very complicated mathematical equation on the board. The other kids looked at her with satisfaction, glad to see that another soul would suffer what they had experienced. The poor girl, who is currently the object of humiliation, stood there shaking. She's not budging from her place that Mr. Teebone roared with rage. Hearing this, she hastily went to the board. Everyone held their breaths waiting for the thrill on watching her fail. She started scrawling numbers. The class snickered, and Mr. Teebone smiled. He then proceeded to his litany about ignorance and studying harder. He went on and on without looking at the child's work. When he finally took a glance he returned his eyes to the class. Processing what he saw, he turned back his gaze to the board. The board that held numbers which made sense and in every way is correct. He was too astonished to notice that Naomi stone was clutching her head and was biting her lip in pain.

Lady Wallis is red with rage as she was called in by Mr. Teebone carrying a report about Naomi Stone's cheating habits ( because he failed to understand how a five year old answered his question, he resorted in believing that she found a way to dupe him). It was a shame to Lady Wallis that she held Naomi in her longest detention yet.

It was a harsh life for a five year old to grow up in. She didn't remember her parents, not even a picture of them. She didn't dare ask Lady Wallis about them, for she would then snap and make her do extra work. If not, Olive Rose (a mean faced glutton who is the Lady Wallis' favorite) and her gang would find a way to humiliate her.

Not only in the day, even at night peace is too elusive. Recently, her memories from when she was younger haunts her. Memories of someone teaching her something from a book that was making her head hurt.  Everytime she closes her eyes all she could see are numbers from the same book.

Do not become like me.

A voice would ring in her ears afterwards.

However, these dreams never gave her  happiness as it only made her head hurt. Almost as if her body remembers the pain all those studying gave to her young mind. From when, she couldn't remember.

All these dreams made her into a mess, a helpless child pleading the words stop it stop it stop it please like a prayer.

These nights made the bags under her eyes increase, rendering her to look horrible. It has been a week and she was always the spectacle of the group. Olive and her gang never fails to make sure of that.
