I've seen her pain.
I've watched her cry.
I've felt her suffering; if only I
Could reach out and touch her face
Help her find a better place
Where love and life are all she knows.
But her pain continues to grow.
She falls to her knees and looks above
Closes her eyes and thinks of a Dove.
A Dove that flies free, freedom from the pain is all she needs but her her soul
Still bleeds.
For the only thing she truly needs is Love.
