5 - The Waiter

Connor POV

We reach the bar and enter. I made reservations earlier and, luckily, they had a table for two left. How fitting.

I walk up to the hostess and say, "Franta."

"Oh! Your table is right this was," she says with a pleasant smile.

She leads us to a secluded back table by a window. We sit and she hands us our menus, saying that she'll send a waiter over in a couple minutes.

Glancing a my menu, a pasta dish catches my eye and I decide to have that. With a glass of Chardonnay, of course. I look up and catch Troye staring, he quickly looks back down and blushes. I smile to my self and go back to the dessert section.

"Um, if you don't mind, I'll pay for dinner, eh?"

I look back up to meet Troyes eyes and an inquiring look.

"Oh! I planned on paying for dinner, but I can pay for dessert."

"That doesn't matter I can pay for the whole meal, it's on me."

That accent!! Oh my God I'm a dead inside with love. I catch my self before I start to stare dreamily at him.

"Uh-uh ok!" My voice stutters but he's not fazed.

The waiter comes over and takes our orders. The waiter is a big, muscled, man and he is checking Troye out. I start to get jealous and dismiss him to get our waters.

"Sooo, Troye, anything new happening?"

"Well," he says taking a sip of water, "I signed another record deal! That means a stable future for me!!" He laughs and I melt.

"That's great! I am so happy for you. You know, I'm coming to one of your concerts this week!"

He looks up and smiles, "I can't wait for you to see it. I've heard it's a great performance." He winks and we both burst our laughing.

Charming, handsome, and funny. What more could I want?

Troye POV

Oh my God this boy is attractive. I was starting to get annoyed as the waiter started to flirt, and was grateful when Connor sent him away. I was so happy when he said that he was coming to my concert this week! Out of the corner of my eye I spy the waiter looking at me. He is practically staring. I turn toward Connor and explain my plan.

"Ok so the waiter over their is staring and me, so let's give him what he wants." I share a devil is smile with him.

And then Connor reaches out

kisses me.
