Upgrades!

I didn't really know what Grayson was gonna do or when all i knew is that it wasn't gonna be fun, I could always beat the shit out of him but i really can't risk my identity being revealed, especially after what happened to Matt. Many things happened while Matt was gone, for starters, I had to tell his parents what happened and how he got his powers and everything. It was exhausting, trying to rehash it all! It sucked! On the plus side though, I got a MUCH faster motorcycle and some sick weapon upgrades. How you ask? I added some people to my team, well more like a replacement team, a Beta team if you will. Kinetic Man and I will always be the originals, that Alpha Team. On the Beta team we have my friend Rachel. She designed my new costume and my friend Liss designed the weapons, they don't know I'm Scarlett though. At least i think they don't. I've been trying really hard to keep the whole secret identity thing under wraps. They're like my own personal Edna, from the Incredibles except there's two of them. Liss made me a really cool staff type thing with blades on each end, and it splits in two and has a special serum inside that when i inject it into people they feel like they're on fire, except inside their bodies. The staff has lines carved into it where she put this light up track thing to look like lava. It's pretty cool. She also made me two twin pistols and a sniper. Both pistols do something different, one shoots a powerful tranquilizer into whoever i shot, and the other catches fire and burns whoever i shot, the best part about the guns are that they're scarlet red. I also have some other things like some throwing knives, a few smoke bombs, an emp (to cut electricity around me), and blades in both shoes. I'm pretty suped up, cant take a chance on getting caught unprepared. I always wear my knife boots i love em. The one thing I always make sure to have with me though is my last resort option, in case things must come to that. Liss and Ray are my Omega team i guess since they don't fight. The day was finally coming to an end with the 9th period bell, but it wasn't over yet. Grayson was still gonna approach me probably with the help of some friends and I needed a strategy, one that didn't involve me being put under suspicion. I walked out of the school building and saw my friend Nicole, she came running up to me, "Hey babe what's up." I put on my best smile and said, "Nothin much just can't wait to get home." She replied, "We have to hang out at your house again, your mom's baking is the best." I laughed and said "yeah that would be cool." Even though I know it'll never happen cuz I don't exactly live at home at the moment. She turned and looked at the line of buses in front of the school then said to me, "Alright I have to catch the bus cya later!" I said "of course, luv u" back and began trying to focus on what to do with Grayson. I could always call one of my 2 trainees. The problem is they don't go to this school. One is a dropout and the other lives the next town over. Guess this is up to me. I began walking home through the woods behind the school when Grayson, Stein, Adam, and a few others show up. I wasn't surprised just kind of annoyed, any minute i can send them all to the hospital. I've never been surrounded by so many people that I hate. I don't want the Ace gang to be suspicious of me though, the second I fight back hard core they would have me on their list. I would be a target or I could scare some of them off meaning they could continue after I was caught. I looked at each of them, They were surrounding me and I had 3 options. One, I could make a dive between Adam and Tony and just run away. Two, I could dodge everything they do and wait for them to tire. Or three, it's kind of a last resort but I could kick some ass. I decided to go with option two. Grayson eyed me and started speaking, "so what you did to me today wasn't very nice, you ignored me and laughed at me. You need to learn some respect, I run this school you will listen to me." I smirked at this statement, it was so damn stupid. He continued not noticing my sarcastic expression, "You're gonna pay" he looks at Adam and nods, Adam grabs my wrists from behind. He was faster than I thought he would be and I couldn't dodge it. Another one of them hits me over the head from behind and I see spots. Shit. I need to get out of this quick. I lift both my legs up to try to get him to drop me but he just holds me in the air with no problems. He's really strong and i didn't calculate that when thinking about what to do. Grayson came towards me and i decided to kick him where the sun don't shine. He doubled over and one of his friends went to ask him if he was ok while another got mad at me and slapped me, it actually stung a little but that's besides the point, while this was happening I felt Adam loosen his grip and I broke free because of it. I tried running but someone grabbed my leg and I fell, two of his other friends started to kick me so i just decided to block them. I couldn't run, I would just let them do whatever until they got tired and left. The fight continued. It got close to an end (or so I thought) when I was picked up off the ground and Grayson was in front of me, I had cuts and bruises everywhere. Grayson had a knife out, I was being held by the waist. If he goes to stab me in the stomach I can't dodge. My best option is to stab him with the knife in my shoe but if I do, people will be after me. I'm a little lost in this situation, I may need to take the hit but if I do everyone here will get a visit from Scarlet. I just gotta move to make sure it won't hit any vitals. Grayson smirks and says, "not so tough now huh?" he grabs my face and gets really close. He stares right into my eyes, "It's a shame you're not on our side," and with that he stabs me, right in the side. He missed my vitals but it still hurt like a bitch. Grayson's friend drops me and I lay there bleeding, I put my hand over the wound and immediately apply pressure. It's been 2 hours since school got out and I need to get into my base to patch up my injuries. I sigh and pick myself up and continue through the woods to my apartment. Grayson deserves to be knocked off his high horse, his whole group does. I need to fix this and find evidence of him in the Aces Gang soon.
