She seemed okay for a few minutes. I was sitting in the chair on the other side of the room. I heard the bed creak more than usual. I looked up to see my little sister, shaking. She almost seemed to be floating in the air.
Suddenly the lights flashed and she dropped. It was quiet and calm for a few seconds. Suddenly she sat straight up, her eyes blood shot red and her face drained a pale white. Ava rolled out of her hospital bed and crawled out to the nurses station.
Before I could stop her she had already pinned a fair sized nurse on the ground. The nurse was screaming and Ava was getting more aggressive by the second. The nurses screams seemed to be fuel for her unhealthy body. Five guards attempted to pry Ava off of the nurse to take her to the psychiatric ward but it was no use. Ava turned her head 180° to look at each one of the guards. They immediately slammed up against the wall and blood trickled out of their mouths.
I watched in terror as Ava ripped off the innocent nurse's ears and tore at her face. I tried to go and get Ava, even with the fear of getting mauled to death, but it was as if I couldn't be harmed by my sister's possessor.
Ava took out the other nurse that was hiding behind the desk with one swipe of her finger. As I watched, I noticed that Ava's fingernails had grown and sharpened. She drug her nail across the nurse's eyes and the nurse fell limp.
She darted down the hall and down the steps. I decided to take the elevator down to the next floor, thinking that I could catch her before she killed another innocent victim.
