"So what'd they tell you? Like where you're supposed to go and stuff." Soo Ah said as she started unpacking all of her first suitcase and dumping the piles of folded clothes into the dresser in her room.

Maria ripped off the beanie from her head and laid down on the floor in Soo Ah's room in a starfish like way. "Gimme a second." Maria said as she flipped over the other way. "God these floor warmers! Why didn't we have any in the dorms at Pine Crest?!"

Soo Ah chuckled and continued on her work. "Don't know, they should have them everywhere once it get's this damn cold. In South Korea the transition between fall and winter doesn't play around. I remember that much from when I was here. So, where are you going?"

Maria flipped on her side to face Soo Ah, "I have to go to Big Hit today to check in with the President and I see who I'm hired for." She paused, taking in a deep breath before starting again, "I just wish that it didn't have to be until tomorrow, I am tired beyond belief from all this traveling."

"I have to be at this party by 9:00 pm. I won't be back until 2 pm on Thursday. Which I wish I didn't have to do either because I really just wanna sit here and rest and do nothing." Soo Ah said, trying to find the suitcase which was specifically packed for the business convention she had to attend for two days in Donghae. "Oh, here it is." She said as she pulled out her dress and everything else she needed to get ready. "Okay they said they already turned on the water, we should be good. I'm gonna go in the shower and get ready, it's 7 now so I have a bit of time to get ready and leave, you should start heading out to Big Hit's building."

Maria got up and sat criss cross, still on the floor. "Why, why did they have to give is separate companies? I wish I could have been in Jellyfish with you." She pouted as she got up from the floor readjusting her beanie back on her long brown wavy hair.

"We've gone over this, it's because I'm a third year. You'll get your time! Plus you're going to be an assistant for a group. That's fun! Get to know your group, be friends with them. I get the hard work of managing a group along with their original manager." Soo Ah pat Maria on the shoulder. "You'll be fine." Now I'm gonna get in the shower I got a lot of stuff to do before I leave. Oh! And don't forget to take your damn key."

Maria stuck her tongue out and laughed as she left to her room. She needed to get her bag and other things before she left. She checked the time to see that there wasn't much time left for her to get to the bus stop near their apartment, so she quickly took her bag with her and walked out the door.

&&
"Your name?" The secretary at the front desk asked Maria.

"Uh? Oh. I'm Maria. Maria Alvarado." Maria told the secretary. After about 10 minutes or so of rough Korean questions Maria was finally able to tell her that she was here for the President to see her, that she needed to be assigned to a group.

Once the secretary found her file, she told her simply to wait in the waiting room until the President could see her, as he was in a meeting. She sat down, trying to find something to do. She grabbed her phone out of her pocket and went on her Twitter, tweeting about how long this was taking. About an hour passed by since she waited for the President. All she could do was listen to her music and look up at the ceiling. How long would this damn meeting take?

She plugged her phone into the wall beside her seat. She could never leave her place without it. Her phone was like her baby. About another 15 minutes passed until she heard the secretary clear her throat. "Ma-Ma Ri- Maria?", Maria looked up from her phone to look at the secretary. "President Bang will see you now on the fourth floor."

Maria unplugged her phone and bowed a bow of relief even though it was already past 9:30 pm. "Thank you, I'll get going." Maria walked across the room and into the hall where the elevator was to go to the fourth floor.

She knocked on the glass plate doors that read "회장님 - President"

She heard a cough before she heard anyone speak. "Come in,".

Maria opened the door with careful ness, not to just barge in. She saw President Bang at his desk typing away on the computer. With a formal 90 degree bow, she introduced herself. "Hello Mr. President Bang, I am Maria. Please take care of me."

"Welcome Maria. Please have a seat." Maria sat down at the seat in front of President Bang. "Let me say first that I am truly sorry that I took so long in the meeting."

Maria looked up at him "Oh no Mr. President. It's okay."

He nodded and continued "Well you're the student that is to be working with us correct? You're the second year I hear."

"Yes."

"Now, we were going to just have you be a co assistant for a group, but it seems that our assistant for one of our top groups has had to resign temporarily for maternal leave. Would you be able to assist a group yourself?"

Maria wasn't really sure if she was up for it, but it would definitely boost her business game up.

"You would get a higher pay of course."

She looked up and smiled and shook her head "N-no it's not that. Yes, I think I'll be able to manage."

"Great. I'm going to assign you to be the personal assistant to Bangtan Sonyeondan. You are familiar with them correct?"

Maria thought about about, she did know of the group since she had been studying the pop culture, but she never really looked into that group in particular. "It's a group of 7 boys, they're all very nice you'll get along with them just fine. You start on Tuesday next week, so you'll have a week to become familiar with them before you meet. Here's your temporary pass to show the secretary to walk in."

Maria grabbed it with both hands and did a small now again.

"And um, that's about it. You should get going as the building will be closing soon."

Maria got up from her seat and bowed once more, "Thank you President, I won't let you down." She walked out of the room and out of the building, saying goodbye to the secretary in the front too.

As she walked out of the building she checked the time on her phone, yawning.

9:54 pm

She stopped in her tracks before she finally realized.
