I brushed my hair, combing the knots out of it and wincing when it pulled at my strands painfully.
When I was done fixing my appearance I bounded down the steps, toward my front door where I knew my best friend, Merissa awaited me.
As I reached the end of the steps, my mom reared the corner, my pacing halting to a complete stop.
"Where do you think you're going?" My mother demanded
I sighed rolling my eyes and pushing past her, toward the door.
"Out." I muttered.
"Jade.." I didn't hear the rest of her sentence as I walked out, slamming the door on her.
I slid into Merissa's car, muttering a few incoherent words.
"You alright?" She asked.
"Fine." I mumbled.
Moments later we arrived at the party, the beating of music, the smell of alcohol and smoke filled the room and sweat bodies danced and grinded.
I moved over to the bar, making myself a drink and gulping it down. And soon enough the night became a complete and utter blur.

It had been over a year since I had experienced the high life of a teenager who lived in the world of destruction.
A year since I had seen my mother, much less the people I had called friends.
A year, since I had been saved and shipped to an all catholic school.
The moment I had arrived I had thrown a fit. But when I ha eventually settled in and talked to the right people I found myself falling in love with The Lord. I was literally drawn to the way things worked in the religious world.
The angels and lucifer for why cast down to hell. The ones who fell with him and then if course there was the apocalypse.
I had done my research, counting up all the bullet points and becoming obsessed to some sort. It was honestly just a hobby.
The angels, nephilim and demons were what caught my attention. It was interesting by far.
I looked up at Jenny, sparing a glance at her as I pushed around my food.
"You gonna eat?" She asked.
I sighed, rolling my eyes.
"I planned too, I lost my appetite though." I stated blandly.
Suddenly, the seat took occupation next to me. Matt in its place.
"Why? You feeling alright?" He asked, worry etched on his face.
I shrugged.
"I guess." I muttered.
"Hmmm. Did you here about the new kid?" Jen flashed me a smile, a small smirk hiding behind it.
I groaned.
"Not you too!" I whined. "I seriously think that's the reason I lost my appetite. No one will shut up about him." I sighed.
She rolled her eyes. Looking past me, her orbs growing wide.
"Ohmygod..I mean gosh! Gosh! He's here!" She squealed.
Everyone at table willed their head around glancing toward his direction. Everyone, except me.
"Hello? Someone sedate her." Sarcasm laced in my voice.
When no one paid attention to me, I turned around, my eyes rolling, and yet at the same time they caught his gaze.
Little did I know that at that moment he would the possibility of the destruction of me and little did I know I would thrust into the world of the very, I found interesting.
Angels. Demons. Lucifer. And God.
Little did I know I was meant to bring the end of the devil himself but the end of the world as well.
