I glanced around, catching everyone's faces in the cafeteria. Suddenly my eyes landed on my ex. I quickly averted my gaze. Turning around and looking back at our table.
Jenny sat across from me, and I let out a sigh. I broke up with him for one reason and only one. He didn't want me for me, he only wanted my body and that was something I refused to give up until I felt I had met the right one.
"He's coming over here." Jenny stated, frozen in shock.
I tensed up, every molecule in my body halting, screaming at me to leave and run. So I did just that, picking my lunch up and standing to full height which only happened to be 5"4.
"Jade? Where are you going?" She asked.
"Uh, away. I have a paper due so in gonna head to library. Rain check." I turned away, being precise into not touching him or looking him in the eyes.
As with that I headed back to my form before taking a small nap till next period.

I currently sat in the back of the classroom, sighing out. It was my last period of the day and all I needed to do was get over it so I could rest my body.
Suddenly my phone buzzed, indicating I got a text message.
From my coach.
(Cheer practice after school. Meet in the gym. -holly )
I groaned in frustration, letting my head fall back, my eyes rolling in displeasure.
"Well whats up with you?" Jenny pipped.
"Me? We have cheer practice after school." I stated.
She slammed her backpack down on the desk.
"Are you kidding me? I had plans with the new kid!" I rolled my eyes and shrugged.
She placed her hand on her hip, cocking it out and arching her eyebrow. Almost as if she were studying me.
"What?" I asked, a little irritated.
"You planned this didn't you? You knew I had plans with the new, hot guy and you decided to try and cancel them. It's not going to work." She stated, lips pursed.
I gave her one of my famous, 'your stupid' looks. Just string at her blankly before she sat down and I answered calmly.
"First, just because I'm captain does not mean I have the authority to call random practices. Second, I don't even know what this..new kid looks like. I don't have time for (boys.)" I emphasized, stressing each word.
"Oh, he's no (boy)" she smirked at me, an evil glint passing through her eyes.
I laughed, turning away; noticing that the lecture had already started.
"What were y'all planning to do anyway?" I asked, curious under all of it.
"I don't know. I thought about dinner, ya know? Getting to know him better and all since he new." She explained.
By her stated of getting to know him better, I knew exactly where she was going with it and what exactly she wanted from him.
"C'mon, don't sell yourself out like That." I muttered.
She sighed.
" I know, I know, but you haven't seen him!" She squealed.
"Nor, do I plan too." I grumbled before turning away.
