Background

Esmeralda Porter , was born May 2nd 1991,  and the second child to Delilah Porter and Paul Ryan. Mr Ryan unfortunately died 4 months before Esmeralda was born , Delilah struggled raising a baby girl  and a five year old boy on her own , she worked multiple jobs in order to nurture and raise her children, She met Sandi Graham in 1996, Esmeralda was 5, Andrew was 10 ,Sandi's son Audrey was 9,  through a mutual friend who had told Delilah that Sandi was renting a room from her home, with a stable home and enough money Delilah put  Andrew in Hockey and Esme in Ballet classes although high school.

Delilah , Andrew and Esmeralda moved in to the Graham home and gradually built a strong bond with Sandi and her son, Audrey. Although ,Audrey and Esme where living in the same home they went to separate schools , both Jewish schools , Esme went to an all girls school, while Andrew and Audrey went to a coed school, they still managed to build a strong bond , he also became Esme's first crush , but Audrey never found out.

When Audrey was in Degrassi :The New Generation ,he dropped out of school, Andrew also dropped out but unlike Audrey he did it for other reasons unlike Audrey who did it  in order to pursue acting , Esme's mother worried about her son , he began hanging out with the sketchy crowds around Toronto , Audrey's  mother was also rather upset when he dropped out it supported her son ,although not much money came out of it ,they all supported Audrey through it especially Esme who would sometimes go to set with him whenever she wasn't in class.

In 2007 Andrew never came home one night , her mother began calling around the neighborhood and asking his friends ,but no one could find him, the next night a police patrol car came to the residence to inform Delilah that her son was in the hospital ,he'd been shot and was dying, he died later that night due to his organs had seized to function and were beginning to shut down, the shooter was never found although it was thought that Andrew had just been a victim of senseless gang violence, he was 21 when he passed away.

  Audrey was on Degrassi up until 2009 when his character graduated on the show, but before the end came of his appearance on Degrassi , he began writing and composing music under a pseudonym Champagne Papi, Esme graduated high school in 2008,when she was 17 ,a year later Audrey released "To Far Gone "at 22.In early 2011 ,when Esme was 20 she took notice of an artist on Soundcloud ,his name was Abel Tesfaye, "What You Need "was and still is one of her favorite songs ,she mentioned The Weeknd to Audrey ,who soon got into contact with Abel , and together they recorded Trust Issues, Crew Love, The Zone, Live For and The Ride, Audrey soon become close friends with Abel but has yet to introduce Esme and Abel to one another.

Audrey soon created his own label ,which he named OVO (October's Very Own ) through Warner Bros.Records and Esme sometimes helps around or messes around with Audrey in the studio , when she does produce she goes by a pseudonym, Eve Torn ,she wrote and produced songs for Florence Welch ,  Rihanna , Beyonce , Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and many others . Esme began modeling when she was 19 for Victoria's Secret ,she now has been modeling for 5 years for other designer and was made a Victoria's  Secret Angel.

Today , Esme and Audrey are still best friends, that keep in contact through Skype, texting,phone calls ,tour visits, and occasionally going on tour with him  , and they are frequently seen publicly together by fans and social media regarding whether or not they're dating, the media often speculates that she and Nikki hate each other, or that Rihanna and she hate each other ,when they all get along perfectly fine

Esme lives in downtown Toronto, as do both Esme's  and Audrey's mothers where Audrey often stays when he's in Toronto although he has his own house ,they often hang out with each other and with their mothers.

Although both she and Audrey are now filthy rich ,both remain very down to earth due to their humble upbringings , Esme is often at charities all over Canada and the US to help teens involved themselves in music,dance and art and help them avoid drugs and gang violence that took Esme's brother and many other young adults all over Toronto  , she and Audrey created "Arts into Actions " they've also been involved in charitable organizations that help provide housing and food to lower income families all over Canada but mainly Toronto and the surrounding areas  and parts of the US.
