~Pearl's pov~
I kept staring out the window of the car.
College is over.
After four long years,
I thought.
I can finally move out.
I was a bit sad, though.
In about a year I'd be leaving everyone behind.
My best friends,
My family,
Her.
I would be leaving her behind.
I knew I should've tried to talk to her in college, but I never had enough courage.
"Home!" My mother said with joy.
"Everyone's going to be so excited to see you!" Her face had a gleeful smile on it.
She must've missed me a lot.
I got out of the car and walked to the back.
I pulled out one of my suitcases, and put it on the cement.
I pulled out the other one and started pulling them behind me.
My mother opened the door for me, and I walked in.
I glanced around.
It hasn't changed on bit.
I thought.
I left my suitcases by the door and walked upstairs.
I took my phone out of my pocket and checked it.
No notifications.
I sighed a bit and walked into my room.
I walked over to my bed and laid down.
There was a slight knock at the door.
I checked the time on my clock.
'3:04 pm' it read.
It must just be the mail.
"Pearl!" My mother called to me from downstairs.
I got up and walked out.
I then walked down the stairs and over to my mother.
"Seems like you have a letter."
She handed an envelope with my name written on it.
It had no signature and an address I wasn't familiar with.
I walked back up stairs and into my room. I sat on my bed and started to open it.
