So, uh...my mom said I should start a journal because of the decision I just made. And I'm starting to take Mandarin so she encourages me to write as much as I can in Chinese. But school hasn't even started yet so all I have learned from Google Translate is the date and: 你好, 我叫杰克。Hello, my name is Jack. I don't know why I'm taking that class. Just thought it might come in handy some day. Who knows? Maybe I'll write an entire journal entry in Chinese later.
Anyway, about the journal. So, last week I underwent the surgery I've been wanting to do for quite a while. My mom was shockingly supportive of it. My friends Mary, David, and Emily seem to support me as well.
I was born a girl. My birth name was Jacqueline. When I was eleven I realized I was actually a boy. And being a Trans preteen, I wanted people to know that. So I made all these tshirts and hoodies and stuff that said only one thing across the chest: "BOY." My mom doesn't have a lot of money now, and since I haven't grown much since then so I have to wear those now. Quite a stupid decision I made, really.
Now I can officially identify as a male, like I was always meant to be. People will still call me "Jacqueline" and "her/hers/she," probably. The stupid transphobic idiots. But I'm Jack now. And they can't stop me.
