Robin's POV

I woke up by my son Roland screaming my name from downstairs. "DAD" Roland screamed. I got up and got dressed in casual clothes because Roland has chemo for his cancer. When Roland was 3 he was diagnosed with brain cancer. I ran downstairs to find Roland looking at the calendar that is for the appointments for chemo. "Dad I got chemo in 30 mins we better get going" Roland says. Roland is 7 and he is very smart for his age. He always knows when something's wrong or when he has to do something with out being asked to. We got into the car and drove to the hospital.

Regina's POV

I was getting ready for my day when my phone buzzed to remind me that I had chemo today. I was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma when I was 19 and I've had to have my left leg amputated from the knee down and I have a prosthetic leg. I've been still getting use to the whole leg half gone but I have no family to support me but I've been doing good on my own. So I decided on a pair of pink shorts, a black tank top with floral print on it and high heels. I really don't know why I chose high heels. When I look at the time it is 9:00 and I got 1 hour to get there.

At the hospital. Regina's POV

I arrived and I walk into the hospital and tell the nurse that I'm here for my chemo. I walk into the waiting room where I see a child about the age of 7 playing on a iPod with his father siting beside him. "Nice shot" I heard the man say to his son. So I walk over to the other side of the room and sit down. I went on my phone until I heard a nurse call for a Roland Lockley. I'm assuming that's the man's son. I went back to my phone but didn't notice the man who was sitting on the other side of the room walk over and sit in the chair next to me. "What are you playing?" He asked. "Ah candy crush" I say turning back to the game on the screen. "I'm Robin" he said sticking his hand out for me to shake it. "Regina" I say. "So what type of cancer do you have?" "Osteosarcoma" I say looking into his eyes. "Oh nice leg" Robin says. "Thanks" I say as he was trying to make a joke I think. "So is Roland your son?" I ask turning off my phone. "He is he has brain cancer diagnosed when he was 3" Robin says looking down. " I was diagnosed when I was 19 I have no family or friends who have been there to support me. Roland is very lucky to have you" I say with a big smile. "Thank you and well now you have a friend" Robin says. "Thank you" I say. Roland came back out and wanted to go to Starbucks so me and Robin exchanged phone numbers to stay in touch. I want in to chemo and all I could think was about Robin. The one friend you have and your in love with him. Nice going Gina.
