Just an Ordinary Girl

Chapter 4

Today was a Saturday
Never have I loved the sound of the word Weekend so much until now.
I had my first day off
Ok work isn't that bad
But the sound of the till beeping is incessant torture
While deciding whether to get up or not, a loud knock is heard and the bell is rung
Who is at my door at this ungodly hour
(OK it's 11:45, but oh well)
I yank open the door to. Be greeted by a bright eyed Millie.
"Good morning" she greets me
"It's too early" I moan as she invited herself in.
" get dressed were going shopping" she smiles
"Oh god you sound like a mean girl" I chuckle
" while that movie is amazing, I am nothing like her, anyway were going charity shopping, i need me some good deals"
"Fine give me 5 minutes"
I rush upstairs through on a BMTH shirt,some black skinny jeans and a blue hoodie, I grab my combat boots and run down the stairs, I chuck my car keys at Millie and tell her to start the car while I lace up my boots, I slip my phone and my purse into my hoodie pockets and slide into the car, Millie had put the key in the ignition and started the car and had now slid into the passenger seat.
"We're going on a road trip" she yelled excited
"Millie, we're going to Marlborough, that's 10 minutes away"
"Don't ruin my dreams" she pouts I let out a little chuckle as I drive forward and onto the road.
~le time skip~
I pull into a parking space and cut the engine,
Millie shoots out of the car screaming something about getting the parking ticket, she rush back a minute later with the ticket in her hand.
"Thanks" I say as I open the car and place it in the windscreen"
"Alrighty then, where too first?" I say closing the car door.
"Cancer research" she smiles, and she off again, running across the road without even looking, she is gonna get hit by a car one day.
I sigh as I cross the road following her to her chosen destination.

As I enter the store, I already found her stroking a red scarf,
"look, it's like Mikasa's" she grins at me , already over joyed that's she was in her natural habitat.
"Hmm, 6 quid though" I said
"What, aww I really wanted the scarf" she pouts as I giggle at her
We browse for a few minutes longer and find nothing to buy
"We done here?" I question
" yup, next stop prospect" she yells rushing out the door.

I manage to catch up with her as she reaches the door.
When we walk in I freeze, sat behind the counter on his phone with a bored look on his face, was Luke.
I quickly look around for somewhere to hide and duck behind a mannequin.
Millie looks at me, confused
"What are you doing?"
" the guy at the till" I start " he's the cute guy I told you about over the phone"
"Oooh!! Why are you hiding then? Go say hi!" Millie giggles
"No way"
" Oooh he looking over here " Millie says waggling her eyebrows
"Stop that" I say
"Stop what" she says still moving her eyebrows, she was playing dumb
I let out a loud laugh and instantly cover my mouth
" okay he definitely knows your here now"
