The First Day

Hanji woke up to the sound of someone pounding on the door. "I'm coming" she said tiredly. She had been up for several days without sleep, working on her titan experiments with Eren and Annie. She opened the door to see Levi standing in the door shocked at how she looked. She stood in the doorway with her hair was down in a messy tangle, and the fact that she was just wearing her button down shirt and her underwear. As the other cadets walked by they were also stunned by the section commanders appearance. She was still half asleep when Levi spoke, "your late for the staff meeting shitty glasses" Levi said without any hint of feeling. "Hey I thought that the meeting wasn't until tomorrow." She said with a soft tired voice, "well it got moved to today, Erwin is planning something but I don't know what. Levi said with a little anger in his voice. "Alright, I'll be out in five minutes Okay?" She said. About five minutes later Levi knocked on her door again. "Come in" She said and he went in, Hanji was still fumbling around with the 3D maneuver gear harness, it was amusing to watch being that she did this every day and still had trouble with them. " Okay, done lets go Levi, I think we have left Erwin waiting long enough" she sad in her happy voice. So with that she grabbed Levi and pulled him with her. When they arrived Erwin was just going over the way the formation was going to be for the next mission. "so good of you to finally join us section commander Hanji" Erwin said with some angst in his voice. "Sorry Commander" Hanji said and sat down next to Nanaba. Erwin started to talk and everyone in the room stopped talking and were paying close attention to what he was saying. "The first five squads will be our formations spearhead, that means that these squads will consist of the Levi squad, Hanji squad, stone squad, bear squad, and the domino squad". "That mean Levi, hanji your two squads are going to be the hardest hit so make sure that Annie and Eren are both ready as soon as we exit the wall am I clear"? " yes sir" they both said as they stood and saluted their Commander. They both Sat down and looked at each other and without speaking, wished each other good luck because as soon as the meeting was over the preparations began. What came next will change everything they know, about themselves and each other.
