The counterattack Begins

The morning came quickly, before they knew it the regiment was assembled for the mission. "OK move the supply wagons to the rear" Levi yelled with a sense of anger in his voice as usual. "hey shorty, how are you?" Levi turned to see Hanji standing behind him with what seemed to be a worried look on her face, as apposed to her happy annoying smile she got right before a mission. "Hello shitty glasses, I'm fine, what's wrong?" Levi said to her. "Oh its nothing, never mind." she said flustered and walked away.

Levi was surprised by her actions and appearance. something was wrong but he didn't know what. As the horses gathered near the gate Levi looked to see how everything was looking, Then he saw Hanji talking to her subordinate Annie. Hanji finished talking to her and then turned and looked at him, Levi turned away and blushed. Eren at the time was looking at Annie and started to realize what was happening with the capt. "Hey heicho' Whats going on is everything alright?" Eren asked. Levi composed himself and responded as he normally would "Shut up, and look forward", without saying anything Eren tuned around. As the gate started to open Erwin started to talk "It's officially begun the 28th recon mission, scouts move out" and with that all the scouts began to move. As soon as the scouts left the walls they started to move into their position and spread out.

"Eren transform" Levi commanded' "Yes capt. " Eren responded. After seeing the flare signaling that Eren had transformed Hanji gave the order for Annie to transform. About an hour passed and they hadn't seen a single titan, the thought on everyone's mind was where are all of the titans. "Tsh" Levi heard the sound of a flare, black smoke an abnormal, that's when he realized that the flare had come from Hanji's Squad. "oh you better be alright Hanji" Levi thought to himself. " oy go and see what is going on over there" Levi yelled at two of the members of his squad. "yes sir" Armin and Rhiner said and headed off. Then all of a sudden the flare that signaled return to the wall was fired. " Alright, return to the wall" Levi said, but just as he did "Levi!!!!!" he turned and saw that Armin and Rhiner were returning to the squad. When they returned to the squad they told him that Hanji's squads needs help.

"Sir what do we do, we can't just abandon them." Armin yelled sounding concerned for his fellow Regiment members. "Alright, lets move" Levi said with a sense of worry in his voice and they headed to Hanji's squad. When they arrived the titans were attacking "Spread out and engage all titans" Levi yelled at his squad with fear and anger mixed together in his voice. Eren went strait to helping Annie fight of the lager titans while the remainder of hanji's squad with the help of Levi's squad fought off the smaller 5-8 meter titans. when all of the titans were dead Levi went and tried looking for Hanji, then Annie signaled to Levi and he realized that Annie was holding someone in her hands.

Levi approached fearing that it was Hanji. Annie laid the body on the ground. Levi got off his horse and walked to the body, Annie was supporting their head with her finger as he got closer he started to cry seeing that it was hanji lying there on the ground. He knelt by her side and she opened her eyes to see Levi kneeling over her crying.

"Hey shorty why are you crying" Hanji spoke softly, Levi stopped and started to stifle back his tears. Levi managed to speak to her in his normal voice, "I was afraid we, I had lost you. Hanji i was afraid that you were gone, I love you and i don't want you to get hurt". Hanji smiled at what Levi said "I love you too Levi". she said before passing out' Levi checked her pulse it was weak. "We need to get back to the walls, Annie carry Section commander Hanji back to the wall. Eren you need to run protection for her until the Section commander is safe behind the wall". Eren and Annie Nodded Understanding his orders, and they started making their way back towards the walls.
