The Hybrid

Chapter 4

Kat's P.O.V.

I stood across from Amber staring at her. Waiting for her to strike first.

"Let me change our eye color to freak her out." Ash said with a snicker.

"OK I'm down with it." I told her.

I felt my eyes change to pitch black. Amber took a step back staring at me with wide eyes. She hid the fear and shifted into her average wolf.  An average wolf is the size of a regular wolf in the wild. Ash started laughing hysterically. Soon I joined in to. When I sobered up everyone was looking at me like I'm crazy. I looked at Amber and giggled. It was pretty funny looking at her puke green wolf that's so small. 

Amber then growled, mad that I laughed at her.  She jumped at me with her jaws wide open,  saliva dripping down her muzzle. Before she could bite me I grabbed onto her muzzle,  snapped her jaws closed,  and while holding them closed threw her into the metal wall leaving a huge dent. When she hit the wall I heard people gasp, hearing her ribs breaking into a thousand pieces. I started laughing again. While I was to busy laughing,  she took the time to heal and jump up and bite a huge chunk out of my face.

I screamed, not from the pain,  but from all the rage being held up from her hitting me.  Me getting beaten by my parents and brother.  Getting beaten from the pack.  Getting starved. Nobody doing any thing about it. My mate rejecting me. I kept all the anger in and now it was breaking free. I felt my eyes change to red pupils and turn black where the white is supposed to be. I was shaking in anger.  In rage.  Amber was just sitting in the corner smirking in her wolf form while licking her paw. I let out a violent growl. She look up quickly gasping when she saw my eyes.  I felt my bones breaking and rearranging again, this time it didn't hurt.

People gasped and screamed when they saw me fully shifted. I shook out my fur and looked over to the crowd.  I gave them a creepy and dangerous smile in wolf form.  Some of the girls fainted. I looked back at Amber and stalked towards her. She was shaking so badly, pure fear and terror in her eyes.  Ash was sitting back enjoying the people's fear. I let out a howl that shook the ground and caused red lightning to appear and flash.  Then I pounced. Amber tried to run away but I was to fast. I grabbed her by her neck and forced her to lay down while she tried to wiggle free.  She bit my paws but I was to busy to even notice. I put my paws on her chest and gripped her head in my teeth. 

I clamped down on my teeth and crushed her skull in.  Then I twisted and ripped her head off. I threw it in the sky as blood rained down on us. People were screaming and running around. I was drenched in blood, but I didn't care. I lifted my head into the sky while still stepping on her lifeless body and howled a spine chilling howl that told of my victory.
