"You can't commit suicide." They say.
"At least live for them, because they need you." They say.
Do they really need me? No. They'll get over it. It happens.
Why should I live for them?! My family is not depressed!
My family doesn't go to the corner of the room when everyone is gone, to cry and cut their wrists. Okay, just turn the tables for a minute. What if, say, your mother was just hanging by her neck from a rope. You walked in and saw her. Lifeless. The stool she used was kicked over and had a note taped to it, confessing everything. Her depression, and how things would be better for her now. What would you do? Panic? Yes. That's your family. What you would have experienced, would be what they had experienced if that was you. So, would you still do it? Commit suicide? Yes. I could get over family member passing away. Or more like choosing to die. That would be tougher, but when you have depression, you feel as if nothing matters anymore.
