The sound of shattered glass echoed throughout the spacious bedroom. A blonde around seventeen of age stood by the door frame, eyes wide and shoulders trembling. "N-N-Natsu...w-what do you think you are doing!?" She asked, her voice disbelieving. "L-LUCE! W-W-WAIT! I-I-I can explain!" Natsu tried to reason with his best friend.

Lucy didn't know what to feel right now, the feeling of betrayal wrapped around her heart like stubborn rose thorns. She couldn't believe it, her best friend and teammate whom she trusted so much. The one who brought her to Fairy Tail and showed her the will to never give up, the determination to fight for your friends, had betrayed her!

Anger twisted in her stomach and a menacing snarl ripped out of her throat. Natsu gave a high-pitched squeal and dropped the object in his hand. His face pale and had fear written all over it. An angry Lucy is like Erza after you smash her cake right in front of her.

-Meanwhile at the Guild-

Erza sneezed, put down her fork and rubbed her nose. "Did you catch a cold Erza san?" Questioned the ever so kind Wendy, who was sitting in the seat opposite of the redhead. "No it's nothing, maybe someone is talking is about me. If it's bad, i'll find them and..." She left her threat unfinished and returned to her strawberry cake. Wendy and Carla both shivered and laughed nervously.

Before the forkful of cake could reach Erza's mouth, Gray slammed into their table, effectively smashing her cake. "Dang it! Oh it's o-" He stopped mid-sentence and stared at Erza, whom was emitting an evil aura. The guild went quiet as they all stared at Gray in pity, some even mumbled R.I.P under their breaths. Gray saw the crushed cake, creepy Erza, quiet guild, and the dots connected. He gulped and prayed to Mavis for his life as Erza slowly turned his way.

-Back to Lucy and Natsu-

Lucy's eyes narrowed as she voiced the inevitable question, "Natsu." She drawled out. The said dragon slayer was getting paler by the second. There was no route of escape since his blue companion had flew out of the window as soon as Lucy stepped through the door. Saying something about angry blondes the whole way.

"L-Luce I-I-EEEP!" Screeched out Natsu as Lucy stomped over, each step trembling the whole apartment. Lightning sounded throughout the room and Lucy's hair looked as if it has gained a life of its own. "Why...." She started queitly, bangs covering half her face. Before Natsu could reply, her head snapped up and showing her furious eyes. "WHY DID YOU EAT MY LAST COOKIE!"

"I'M SORRY!!! I DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS YOUR LAST COOKIE! IT WAS JUST ON THE TABLE BESIDE A GLASS OF MILK! THE COOKIE WAS BEGGING ME TO EAT IT!" Natsu responded, throwing his hands up in a surrender motion.

Lucy sighed and went over to her destroyed cup. "Next time, ask before not getting one," She lectured softly. "Oka- Wait what!?" Lucy glared at Natsu, "Cookies are not meant to be shared!" "AYE!" Was Natsu's quick response, not wanting to anger the blonde any further.

"But you still owe me a cookie.... or two." Started Lucy as she dumped the glass into the trash bin. "E-eh?" Natsu scratched his cheek and tugged on his scarf. "Tomorrow, at ten we'll meet up and you'll buy me a new box." Lucy responded rather shyly, a light blush apparent on her face.

Natsu nodded, knowing that it was his fault in the first place, then walked up to the blonde. "Ne, Luce, are you feeling well? Your face is all red." He bumped his forehead with hers lightly to test her temperature. Her blush intensified, face redder than a tomato and steam spewed out of her ears. "LUCY KICKKKKKKKK!" "WHYYYYYYYYYYY!?" Screamed Natsu as he was kicked out of her room.

Lucy tried to catch her breath and cupped her cheeks. Natsu was so close to her that she could feel his breathing. Their lip were inches away too... NO NO NO BAD LUCY! BAD THOUGHTS! She sighed and jumped on her bed, hugging her pillow. Tomorrow, she'll go shopping with Natsu. Not for a mission, not with anybody, but just them two, or so she hopes.

It will be just like a date. Her cheeks warmed up and she smiled at the thought. With the smile still on, she made her way to the guild. Completely forgetting about the half eaten cookie on the floor by the wall. The cookie was like their red string of fate that had connected them together, and will forever do so.

Heyyy! This is my first one shot, totally didn't come up with this because I was bored and was writing random things. Yeah I know it's very short, but please tell me what you think about the story! I don't own Fairy tail!  The title and perhaps this whole story, was very cheesy.......
