My best friend Ethan Dolan

Chapter 1

I woke up to the sound of my alarm and my mom yelling at me to wake up. As I slowly opened my eyes I realized that it was 8:30 and that I was about to be late for school. I jumped out of bed and quickly threw on a pair of leggings and a crop top. I ran down stairs and saw my mom. She looked very angry and upset but didn't say anything. I rushed out the door and yelled over my shoulder "bye mom have a good day at work!"
I closed the door behind me and ran as fast as I could. I reached the school just as the first bell rang. I jogged over to my locker which was right beside my best friend Ethan's Locker.
"Whew I wasn't late, that was a close one" I said to myself
I felt someone grab me from behind which caused me to freak out.I turned around to see Ethan Dolan, my best friend aka the hottest boy in the school and the captain of the football team. I hit him playfully In the shoulder then yelled at him.
"Ethan Dolan You almost gave me a heart attack"
"I know and it was hilarious" he laughed
"You suck" I said as I gave him a big hug."anyway I gotta go or I'll be late for class, bye!!"
"Bye" he said as I raced down the hall just Barely making it to class.

After class I walked outside to see Ethan hanging out with all of his friends.
"Hey Eth" I called over to him
"Hey babe can I walk you home?" Asked His friend Luke
"Ugh Luke, please leave me alone you're a creep and don't call me babe" I said loud enough for him to hear me."and by the way you can't because someone else is already walking me home, right Eth?"
" Sorry Emi I'm busy after school but Grayson can. I'm sure he'd love to!" Said Ethan
Ethan walks over to me and gives me a hug.
"Sorry."
"it's ok, it's not your fault" I said then walked away to go and find Grayson
"Hey gray"  I sighed but was honestly really happy to see Gray
"Hey Emma" he said daydreaming about the girl he likes
Grayson has had a crush on this one girl since grade 4 and sometimes he gets a little weird around her. He looks exactly like his brother except that he has a birthmark on his chin and Ethan has one on his cheek and when I first met them I couldn't tell who was who. Grayson is my other best friend and we get along really well. I tell him all my secrets and he is the only one who knows who I like.
"Ethan is busy after school so I was wondering if you wanted to walk me home bae?" I asked Grayson
"I'd love to bae" replies Grayson that's our nickname for each other.
"Thanks Gray" I said happily
"Let's go eat, I'm starving" I said
"No the kids in Africa are starving you are just hungry" Grayson said as we walked together to the cafeteria.
When got to the cafeteria we sat at our usual table and waited for Ethan. He finally showed up and we ate our lunch talking about our classes and teachers.

After school I met Grayson outside at the usual meet up bench. As I waited for him I started daydreaming about Ethan. I mean he is really good looking and funny but he is also my best friend. I don't know how to tell him how much I like him. In the middle of my train of thought Grayson called my name.
"Hey bae" I said
"Are you ready to go?"he asked
"Of course" I replied
I grabbed my stuff and we started to walk home.
