Meeting The Parents (2/2)

Jin's POV:

Ross and I went upstairs to his room. He put his bag down and flopped backwards on the bed and sighed. I sat down next to him. "She seems friendly enough" I said. He shook his head slowly. "Nope. She took her pills again. And that smile was probably fake." He said. "Oh. Okay, well lets meet your sister" I said. He nodded and we knocked on her door.

"Alexa, open up" Ross said. Alexa groaned and open the door. "What do you want" she asked. Ross looked at her. "Woah, bad mood" he said. She glared at him. "Well, yeah, I've been traveling with Dad" she said. Ross nodded his head. "Fair enough. This is my boyfriend Jin" he said. She looked at him oddly. "Your imaginary boyfriend" she said. Ross rolled his eyes and pulled me out to where she could see me. "He hides sometimes behind walls. Don't mind it." I smiled and she looked at me unil our eyes met and she smiled too. We stared at eachother until it started getting awkward for me. Ross broke the silence.

"Anyway, just wanted you to know and he will protect you if you need it" he said. I looked at him. "I don't even kno-" he elbowed me. "He will. That's what family is for" Alexa chuckled. "Okay then. Bye." She said, closing he door. Ross turned to me. "She's the one good person in my family. She'll help you if you help her. It's a good thing, but she has emotional issues sometimes." he said. I nodded.

Ross's POV:

"Okay then. Bye." Alexa said, closing the door. I turned to Jin. "She's the one good person in my family. She'll help you if you help her. It's a good thing, but she has emotional issues sometimes." I explained. Jin nodded in response. I walked into my room and sat down on the bed again. Jin followed. There was a long pause. "Pickle" Jin said. I looked at him oddly. "What"? I questioned. He smiled. "Pickle" he said again, raising a brow. I giggled. "WHY PICKLE? WHY NOT BANANAS?" I half yelled. "BECAUSE BANNAS SPLIT" He replied. I laughed. "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?" I asked jokingly. Jin chuckled and shrugged. I heard the door shut downstairs and a squeal from my mom. Dad's home...

"Dinner!" I heard my mom yell. I ran downstairs as Jin followed slowly. Alexa ran down with me and we sat down at the table, and so did Jin, next to me. My dad looked over at him and sat down on complete silence.

There was a long pause before my mom grabbed Alexa's hand and my Dad's hand, Alexa grabbed mine, and I grabbed Jin's, and Jin hesitated and grabbed my Dad's. "Lets say a prayer" my Mom said.

Jin's POV:

So everyone said a prayer at the dinner table and we all started eating. There wasn't any talking until Mrs. Owner interrupted the silence by saying "you know, Jin is Ross's boyfriend." Mr. Owner looked at me for a second and then looked at Ross, who sank into his chair. "You're gay?" he asked. Ross rolled his eyes. "Yes, Dad. For the millionth time. I'm gay." He replied. I sat there in awkward silence. "You have never told me this. Don't pretend you did" Mr. Owner said. "I DID TELL YOU! YOU JUST DON'T LISTEN!" Ross said, standing up from his chair. Everyone looked at him and he sat down. "We'll talk about this after dinner" he said, giving me a dirty look. I nodded along with Ross.

After we finished, Ross was called upstairs by his father. He rolled his eyes and went up and into his bedroom. I sat down next to the door and put my ear up against it. All I could hear was muttering, until I heard a slap. "OW! WHAT THE-" I heard Ross yell, being cut off by Mr. Owner. "You have sold your soul to Satan. We should have aborted you. Being gay is worse than being dead". He said.

All I could do was sit there in pure shock and silence. "Being gay doesn't mean I sold my soul to Satan, it means I just like guys instead of girls" Ross said. "right. Go run off to your boyfriend. Pack your things and just leave. I don't want you in my house" Mr. Owner said, walking out. I hid behind the corner as Mr. Owner stormed downstairs and then I walked into Ross's room. He had a big red handprint on his face, crying silent tears while he was sitting on his bed. I sat next to him and hugged his waist.

"I'll call my mom and tell her to bring the car" I said. He nodded and I kissed him. "Everything is going to be alright, I love you" I said, kissing him again. "I l-love you too" he replied, crying into my chest.
