The quietus

In the lazy long nights,
I fear the rain falling by.

And with the water of the rain,
Freezing down is just pain.

The cold wind that passes through,
makes me sad and reminds of  you.

I wonder why I didn't meet you before..
Our time was short,
but the love was more...

But till date I still remember you,
I wish you were ALIVE coz
I truly miss you..

Passing through the creepy night,

I sat helpless on the floor.

Another day without your smile,

I wonder how I lived before.

The thought of that day ruins my mind,

Oh god, hope is so hard to find!

Now all that is left is loneliness and fear,

And with it left it is nothing but a tear .

But I must wipe my tear and overcome the fear.

After u have gone, I have nothing else to lose,

Strength and hope is what I must choose.

Hope clears the cloudy sky,

And strength refills my weakened will ,

I gaze at the dark night ,

bright with the  star's fill.

The mighty sun comes to life ,

sky becomes clear again,

Clouds start to scatter apart

taking away the rain.

The breaking dawn spreads the light And it eases all the pain,

I have now learnt to move on,

I can feel my heartbeats again!

Author's note :

This poem is very close to my heart.
A real life incident inspired me to write it and let it out.
This is for all those people out there who have experienced such kinda tragedy.
It's never to late to keep your heads high and move on!
